Seaside beach, California

  • from Monterey (California, United States)

“Crystal” was here at Seaside beach , near Monterey, yesterday.   When putting on suntan lotion, she had taken off her wedding ring.   Then made movements around her beach tent zone before she went to put it back on.   And so the ring was somewhere around her tent, obscured from view by the swallowing power of the sand.   White gold with diamonds, that she’d worn for 17 yrs.

Glad I could help !   Thanx for the tip.

And she’s just now sent her own very kind  play-by-play, here it is, cut & pasted :

“…  5/5 Stars – Highly Recommend Tom Tanner!
My family and I spent the day at Sand City near the sand dunes on West Bay Street. I took my wedding ring off and placed it on my lap to apply sunscreen. When I stood up, I didn’t realize it had fallen off into the sand. Once I noticed, panic set in! We searched all over the area where I had been sitting, but we couldn’t find a trace of it.
Just as we were about to give up hope, my husband searched Google for local ring finders, and The RingFinders by Tom Tanner popped up. We gave him a call, and he arrived in under 40 minutes. Believe it or not, he located my 2-carat platinum ring in no time!
Tom has over 40 years of experience, and it clearly shows—he really knows what he’s doing and completely saved the day. I would give him more than five stars if I could. Thank you so much, Tom! The Ring Finders service was absolutely amazing!

Monterey state beach ring lost & found

  • from Monterey (California, United States)

The persons from the prior post , (last night’s hunt) were able to now give a little of the back-story.  Thank you for allowing me to add that to my page.    (And thank you to the R.F. website host/designer for bringing the people together ) Here it is :

“… My stepdad lost his ring while playing football on the beach. It wasn’t just any ring.. My mom had customized it and gave it to him a few years ago. My mom had been battling cancer, and she passed away earlier this month, so losing the ring was honestly devastating for our family. We only had an hour before sunset and we weren’t far from the shoreline! With the tide, the fading light, and such a huge beach, we honestly felt completely doomed and thought there was no chance we’d ever see it again…until I called you.

What you did for us means more than I can put into words. Thank you for taking the time, effort, and care to help find something so deeply sentimental and irreplaceable. You gave my stepdad a piece of her back, and we’ll never forget that.

We are beyond grateful for your kindness and for the work you do helping people recover things that mean so much to them. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts…..”
