I received a call from a lady in Irvine, CA. She had buried a quart sized plastic bottle with gold coins in her backyard several years ago.  She was inquiring how my service works.

I told her, her privacy is most important to me.  I take all these buried cache searches on separate basis, dependent on the details of search situation. I always keep things private and respect rights of my clients to stay anonymous. Usually I don’t need to know what was inside the recovered cache. ( agreed on before the search ) Sometimes we agree on a finders fee. ( Always agreed on before a search ).

This call came to me from the person who buried  2 quart size plastic containers with gold coins and cash enclosed. We agreed to meet a few weeks after the first discussion. The first container was found less than a foot deep in one area of her planters in the backyard. Very heavy for the size of the container.  The second buried container could not be located and it had been buried by my client next to a fence that had been installed after she had buried the gold cache. She agreed that we had cleared the area completely and called off the search.. Many of these buried cache calls are chasing rumors and the people just want to be sure someone checks the area with a metal detector. She was happy to have the one treasure.. ( of course I would have liked to see inside the container, but I agreed to keep it private. knowing how heavy the plastic bottle was enough to convince me it had to be valuable) Every search is an adventure.
