While many were celebrating the 4th of July festivities, this unfortunate incident occurred: a recently engaged couple lost their ring after swimming.
The ring had been placed on a hat before they went into the water because they knew it could be lost while swimming. Unfortunately, the hat was put on before the ring was removed, sending the ring into approximately three feet of water next to a dock. Family and friends searched frantically but were unsuccessful.
After a thorough search, the ring was successfully recovered. Thankfully, this 4th of July incident turned out with a bang.
I want to thank you for choosing me as your ring finder. You were most generous in all aspects not to mention the delicious fresh baked cookies, drinks, and for allowing our granddaughter the opportunity to swim while I searched.
I wish to thank you for choosing me as your ring finder, you were most generous with cookies, drink, and allowing our grand daughter an opportunity to swim while I searched.

Thank you so much for finding our daughter’s engagement ring, she is absolutely thrilled! We tried looking for days with our own metal detector with no success. And even our neighbor across the lake came over with his own detector and had no luck. But Joe found it within a couple of hours!
We can’t thank you enough, you were thorough and came prepared along with a positive attitude. And it was so nice visiting with your kind wife and adorable grand daughter!
Thank you again!
