Mike lost his wedding band while tossing a ball with his nephew at a local beach. He was in approx. 4 to 5 feet of water and actually watched it drop into the water. He and his family searched the area and couldn’t find the ring. Mike got on his phone and searched how to find a lost ring in the water and theringfinders.com came up. He gave me a call and we set up a search for the next morning. This beach is detected a lot and I knew it would be wise to search as fast as possible, also I knew the beach would be very clean of any other objects. This helps, so I don’t have to remove old trash. Mike thought it was chest deep and I searched for an hour or so with no hits. He thought it must be in deeper water, which requires scuba diving. So, I went back home and got my gear. I searched again and nothing, so I decided to go into the shallower area and I found it in about 2 to 2 1/2 feet of water. Ya just can’t give up the search and you have to expand the area, as I ‘ve learned through years of recoveries. Who knows what happened, all that matters is Mike has his wedding band back where it belongs!
