Lost Gold Ring in Gallatin, TN Found By Nashville Ring Finder

Alex called me around 7:45PM on July 2nd from a park in Gallatin, TN. He’s from NY and was in TN visiting friends and family at a park and was enjoying a nighttime game of volleyball. Alex had only been on the sand volleyball court for about five minutes and only hit the ball twice when he realized his 22K gold and diamond ring wasn’t on his finger. The game came to a halt and everyone began sifting through the sand with their fingers looking for the heavy gold ring. After about an hour Alex’s brother found my contact info on TheRingFinders directory.

I made the 45 minute drive to Gallatin and met Alex at the park. He and his friends were still playing volleyball on the same court much to my surprise, but maybe they were hoping someone would step on it and feel it under their feet. I began a grid search and immediately began getting lots of signals, resulting in lots of pennies, dimes, pieces of aluminum can and other miscellaneous metal bits. At one hour and twelve minutes into the search I got the tone I was hoping for. It was Alex’s ring, about two inches deep in the sand and at least twenty feet away from where Alex thought his ring would be. Alex was extremely happy and said it would have been very painful for him to return home to NY without that ring.

Wedding Ring Lost in Harpeth River Found With Metal Detector

Jeff and his wife were enjoying the cool water of the Harpeth River in beautiful Leiper’s Fork, TN on June 20th when he lost his gold wedding band. They spent hours looking under rocks in the shallow river, which luckily was only six to ten inches deep in that area. Unable to find his ring, a family member of his looked on the internet and found my info on TheRingFinders directory. When Jeff contacted me I was in TX, but I assured him that based on what he told me, it was likely that the ring was nestled down in the rocks and probably even covered in silt from the flowing water, making it even more difficult to find. With Jeff’s hectic work schedule and me being out of town, we aimed for the search to be done today on June 28th. This search was the first of three searches on this day.

We met at the small winery along the river at 10:30 am. The business hadn’t opened yet however there were still about ten people seated in chairs in the shallow spots, enjoying the shade. A nice couple moved their chairs after Jeff mentioned why we were there. As the growing crowd of onlookers watched I continued my search for Jeff’s ring. After a few non-target items like pocket change and pull tabs were detected and removed from the river, I got another signal. Jeff was watching eagerly when I pulled the ring out from under some rocks and asked, “Does it look anything like this?” Everyone was cheering and clapping for Jeff. The pictures don’t do any justice to the river, but in my opinion it was the smiles on Jeff and his wife’s face that meant the most to me.

Wedding Ring Lost for Two Weeks Found With Metal Detector

Elia contacted me a week ago regarding her wedding ring being lost in her back yard a week prior. She had handed the ring to her husband when she went swimming and he put the ring in his shorts pocket. He later pulled some car keys from the same pocket and the ring apparently fell somewhere in the yard. Elia’s husband bought a metal detector and tried finding the ring himself, only to become frustrated. When our schedules were aligned I met with Elia and her husband on 06-28-2026. The back yard was expansive, but Elia’s husband showed me the areas where the ring was most likely lost. About 30 minutes into my grid search I got the tone that I was hoping for. Elias’s beautiful ring was concealed deep in the grass, not visible to the naked eye from any angle. Elia and her husband were elated, and I was quite happy myself. Eliza’s husband had already looked into replacing the ring and was shocked when he’d seen how much the price of gold had gone up. This was my second successful ring search on this day.

Heirloom Ring Lost in Nashville TN Found With a Metal Detector

Over 200 years this silver Claddagh ring has been in Andrew’s family, passed down from generation to generation. So when Andrew lost the ring while giving his Saint Bernard a bath in the back yard of his Nashville, TN home, he was terrified to say the least. He searched the internet on how to find a lost ring, then realized that the best option was to find an experienced metal detectorist. Lost Wedding Ring Found With a Metal Detector in Portland, TN

Aaron found my contact information on TheRingFinders directory after his wife lost her wedding ring in their Portland, TN back yard about a week ago. She actually lost both her engagement and wedding rings at the same time as she was playing with their dogs, but they quickly found the larger engagement ring in the grass. The wedding ring disappeared in the thick grass, and played hard to get even when Aaron used a metal detector to look for the ring himself. This was the second search of the day for me, and was hopefully going to be successful like the first search.

After Aaron showed me where his wife was standing when she lost her rings and where they found the engagement ring, he said he’d leave me to do my thing and he went back in the house. Ten minutes into the search I got the signal I was hoping for. The ring was completely concealed in the thick grass, about twelve feet away from where the engagement ring had been found. Both Aaron and his wife were very happy to have the wedding ring back on her finger with the matching engagement ring. Aaron’s wife had all but given up hope that her ring would be found. It was a great feeling to recover the ring for her.

Lost Ring in Murfreesboro TN Found With Metal Detector

I got a call from Mitchell on June 6th, 2026 a few hours after he lost a very special ring in his backyard. It was a warm day, so he and his kids had a water balloon fight in their Murfreesboro, TN back yard. He felt the ring fly off his finger. The lush green grass in his yard, or possibly even one of the adjoining neighbor’s yards swallowed up his ring. He spent hours walking barefoot in his yard, hoping he’d find it by stepping on it, to no avail. He then found my information on TheRingFinders directory and gave me a call.

Mitchell’s father had owned the ring for many years and gave it to Mitchell just last year. Mitchell cherishes the ring and had worn it daily, so finding it was a must. I made the 45 minute drive from Nashville and met with Mitchell. He eagerly showed me where the water balloon fight took place. He anxiously watched as I started a grid search with my metal detector, and luckily he didn’t have to wait long. On April 28th. 2026 I received a call from a very nice lady named Paula. She had lost her beloved 14K gold brooch on Sunday, April 26th, most likely at her church. The brooch was the most sentimental item that she had received from her late husband, so to her it was priceless. Paula had already alerted the church staff to be on the lookout for her brooch inside the church buildings.

I met with Paula at her church about one hour after receiving her call. She showed me the route that she walked from the entry doors of the church to where she had been parked. I found a gold earring along the path, concealed in the grass, but not Paula’s brooch. Paula turned the earring into the lost and found in the church reception area. Paula asked me help her look inside the church, just to get a fresh pair of eyes to visually search the floors. No luck inside the church.

Once outside, Paula asked if I’d follow her to her friend’s house a few minutes drive away so I could use my metal detector along the path to her friend’s front door. I agreed to the search at her friend’s house, but asked if I could search her vehicle first. She assured me that she had searched her vehicle thoroughly and did not find the brooch. Using my digital borescope I searched under and around the driver’s seat and located Paula’s brooch tucked away, completely hidden from the naked eye. I showed her the screen with the live image of her brooch and she cried tears of joy. When I handed Paula her beautiful brooch she gave me the biggest hug and said, “You made my day! No, I take that back. You made my whole year!” It’s a wonderful feeling to re-unite nice people like Paula with their treasures that they thought were gone forever.

TN Ring Finder Travels to Mississippi to Recover Sentimental Jewelry Lost in Devastating House Fire

I received a text from Anita on April 4th. She explained that the home that she hand her late husband built 22 years ago in Holly Springs, MS burned down in December. Sadly, the home was a total loss, with the fire consuming almost everything imaginable. Anita, with the help of some family members scoured the burned out remains and were able to salvage several items of jewelry, sterling flatware and other items that didn’t burn or melt. There was one ring in particular that Anita couldn’t find, which was a gift from her father to her mother on her parent’s 25th wedding anniversary. Anita had very little hope that ring that her mother once wore daily, and she too wore every day since her mother passed away would be found in the scattered burned out rubble of what used to be her beautiful home. I was her last hope. We agreed that I would make the almost four hour drive on April 14th and search for up to three days. Anita put me up in a cottage at a beautiful golf course, which was awesome and greatly appreciated.

It was hard work, shoveling, sifting and lifting sections of charred structure to get to areas of the house where Anita believed her most-sentimental and valuable jewelry could be. In less than one hour I was finding rings, some gold and some platinum, but still not THE ring. About four hours into my search I found THE ring. I took a pic and sent it to Anita. She was beyond relieved and said she was content with the results of my search, but I couldn’t stop there. I knew I could find more. I worked another four hours that day and another five hours the following day. With so much work to be done, I stopped counting after thirty rings, along with some gold chains and bracelets, many of which had also been passed down from Anita’s mother and mother-in-law. Before I left, I met one of Anita’s daughters and she was hoping I could look for some of her jewelry that was lost in the fire. I was able to locate one of the jewelry boxes that was full of jewelry, with a few of the rings being ones passed down from her grandmother.

Anita cried tears of joy as we looked over all of the recovered items. I wish I could have found every piece of missing jewelry and sterling flatware, but I am comfortable knowing that the most important items to Anita were re-united with her, so she can one day pass them down to her daughters. Rose Gold Wedding Ring Lost for Over One Year Found with a Metal Detector

Ryan called me on April 16th and said he had lost his rose gold wedding band the back yard of his Antioch, TN home twelve to eighteen months ago. He was confident it was in a 10’x15’ area of his backyard. He had bought a metal detector and found it was a huge waste of his time. I was in Mississippi on another RingFinder detail, but I assured Ryan that I would help him out when I got back to TN.

I called Ryan on April 17th when I was back in TN and he was ready for me to look for his ring. I first detected the area where Ryan expected his ring to be, but only found a few pennies, a dime and some small foil pieces. I expanded the search area and sixteen minutes into the search I got another signal that I expected to be another penny. About 1/2” to 1” deep was Ryan’s ring. I dusted it off and it looked as good as new. Ryan appreciated my detailed grid search and forensic approach to locating his ring. Gold Wedding Ring Lost in Clarksville, TN Found With Metal Detector

I received a call from Adam in Clarksville, TN after he lost his gold wedding band in his backyard earlier today. I was packing up my gear for a ring search in Mississippi, but told Adam that I would make the one hour trip to his house before I had to leave for Mississippi. Adam had been searching online for a metal detector to purchase when he saw TheRingFinders directory, prompting him to wisely contact me, since he had no experience using a metal detector.
