TN Ring Finder Travels to Mississippi to Recover Sentimental Jewelry Lost in Devastating House Fire

I received a text from Anita on April 4th. She explained that the home that she hand her late husband built 22 years ago in Holly Springs, MS burned down in December. Sadly, the home was a total loss, with the fire consuming almost everything imaginable. Anita, with the help of some family members scoured the burned out remains and were able to salvage several items of jewelry, sterling flatware and other items that didn’t burn or melt. There was one ring in particular that Anita couldn’t find, which was a gift from her father to her mother on her parent’s 25th wedding anniversary. Anita had very little hope that ring that her mother once wore daily, and she too wore every day since her mother passed away would be found in the scattered burned out rubble of what used to be her beautiful home. I was her last hope. We agreed that I would make the almost four hour drive on April 14th and search for up to three days. Anita put me up in a cottage at a beautiful golf course, which was awesome and greatly appreciated.

It was hard work, shoveling, sifting and lifting sections of charred structure to get to areas of the house where Anita believed her most-sentimental and valuable jewelry could be. In less than one hour I was finding rings, some gold and some platinum, but still not THE ring. About four hours into my search I found THE ring. I took a pic and sent it to Anita. She was beyond relieved and said she was content with the results of my search, but I couldn’t stop there. I knew I could find more. I worked another four hours that day and another five hours the following day. With so much work to be done, I stopped counting after thirty rings, along with some gold chains and bracelets, many of which had also been passed down from Anita’s mother and mother-in-law. Before I left, I met one of Anita’s daughters and she was hoping I could look for some of her jewelry that was lost in the fire. I was able to locate one of the jewelry boxes that was full of jewelry, with a few of the rings being ones passed down from her grandmother.

Anita cried tears of joy as we looked over all of the recovered items. I wish I could have found every piece of missing jewelry and sterling flatware, but I am comfortable knowing that the most important items to Anita were re-united with her, so she can one day pass them down to her daughters. Rose Gold Wedding Ring Lost for Over One Year Found with a Metal Detector

Ryan called me on April 16th and said he had lost his rose gold wedding band the back yard of his Antioch, TN home twelve to eighteen months ago. He was confident it was in a 10’x15’ area of his backyard. He had bought a metal detector and found it was a huge waste of his time. I was in Mississippi on another RingFinder detail, but I assured Ryan that I would help him out when I got back to TN.

I called Ryan on April 17th when I was back in TN and he was ready for me to look for his ring. I first detected the area where Ryan expected his ring to be, but only found a few pennies, a dime and some small foil pieces. I expanded the search area and sixteen minutes into the search I got another signal that I expected to be another penny. About 1/2” to 1” deep was Ryan’s ring. I dusted it off and it looked as good as new. Ryan appreciated my detailed grid search and forensic approach to locating his ring. He admitted that he was a little nervous when he saw that I had to expand the search area. Thank you Ryan for trusting me to find your lost ring.

Gold Wedding Ring Lost in Clarksville, TN Found With Metal Detector

I received a call from Adam in Clarksville, TN after he lost his gold wedding band in his backyard earlier today. I was packing up my gear for a ring search in Mississippi, but told Adam that I would make the one hour trip to his house before I had to leave for Mississippi. Adam had been searching online for a metal detector to purchase when he saw TheRingFinders directory, prompting him to wisely contact me, since he had no experience using a metal detector. I found Adam’s ring nestled deep in the grass, completely hidden from the naked eye in no time at all. Today was a great day!

Heavy Gold Bracelet Lost on College Campus in Nashville TN Found With a Metal Detector

On March 22nd I received what I would consider a frantic phone call from a young college student named Zorawar regarding a lost gold bracelet. He explained that he was playing baseball in a grassy courtyard area on his college campus when he lost his solid gold bracelet. He had placed it in his shorts pocket so it wouldn’t fly off his wrist as he was throwing the baseball. At some point, the bracelet fell out of his pocket.

He did what many of my clients have done, went and bought a cheap metal detector and began searching on his own. While he was swinging the metal detector, he had several of his close friends walking all over the grassy area looking for his bracelet. As time passed without the bracelet being found, he did an internet search which lead him to me.

Zorawar sent me a pin with his location and I met with him about thirty minutes after his initial call. I knew time was against us since the college campus is flooded with students and non-students, and realistically there could be someone who would find it and keep it for themselves. I powered up my XP Deus 2 metal detector and began a systematic grid search of the area, even going beyond the boundaries that Zorawar suggested.

After about thirty minutes of searching with my metal detector, it was my eyes that located the gold bracelet.

Understandably, Zorawar was frantic after he lost the bracelet and his mind was going 100 miles per hour. There were very few patches of thick grass that could have concealed the bracelet. All that was needed was a slow, methodical and systematic grid search, and the end result is a very happy and thankful young man. The bracelet has religious significance and Zorawar has worn it every day for the last eight years. Now he gets to keep that routine going. It was truly a great day for both of us.

Gold and Diamond Wedding Ring Lost in Nashville, TN Found by the TN Ring Finder AGAIN

Roy called me on Feb. 21st after losing his gold and diamond wedding ring while landscaping at one of his client’s property. I was metal detecting in Florida, but assured Roy that his ring would still be in the area where he lost it when I returned to Nashville. I met Roy at his client’s expansive property on Feb. 24th and was briefed by Roy where he believed the ring flew off his finger. Within about ten minutes of turning on my metal detector I got the signal I was hoping for. Roy’s ring was buried under several inches of wood chips, bark, pine needles and loose soil. In November of 2025 Roy lost the same ring on the same client’s property and yours truly found it for him. It was a pleasure to help out my very first repeat customer.

Gold and Diamond Engagement Ring Lost in the Snow Found With a Metal Detector in Nolensville, TN

I received a frantic call from Kyley during a snow storm in Middle Tennessee. She explained that she was removing her gloves in the front yard when her engagement ring flew off of her finger and landed in the snow. What made this ring extra sentimental was the fact that her fiancé had it custom made for her in the Virgin Islands before they traveled there a few months ago, which is where her fiancé proposed to her. Kyley had access to a pinpointer metal detector and tried unsuccessfully to find her ring, while the snow continued falling, further burying her ring deeper in the snow. She was smart and covered the area where she suspected the ring was with a thick blanket. She and her fiancé went to the local department store to look for a full-size metal detector, but in the meantime found my contact info on TheRingFinders website. Fortunately I have a very capable 4X4 to make the 30 minute drive on the snow covered roads to Kyley’s house. Indeed Kyley’s gorgeous engagement ring was found hidden under the snow, covered with the blanket that she placed over it. Kyley cried tears of joy and gave me a big hug. When she put the ring on her finger, she said, “Back where you belong.” Recovering lost treasures for nice people like Kyley never gets old.

Lost Gold Wedding Ring Found with Metal Detector in Springfield, TN

Yesterday Noel lost his gold wedding band in his yard while building a fence on his property in Springfield, TN. The ring was made from the gold sourced from his wife’s family, so it was very sentimental to him. I gathered my gear and arrived at his property within an hour. Noel briefed me how he thought he lost his ring, however he didn’t feel the ring come off his finger, so he pointed out all areas of the property where he’d been working. After about one hour and fifteen minutes into the search I got the signal that I had been working for. There was ring, hidden deep in the grass and fallen leaves. Noel explained that he had thought about buying a cheap metal detector after he lost the ring, but came to his senses and looked for help from an experienced detectorist. Bluebird clear skies, cool crisp air, meeting nice people and re-uniting them with their lost treasures, it doesn’t get much better than this.

Alvaro was digging in his front yard to find a leaking pipe when he lost his gold wedding band. He bought a metal detector at a hardware store and tried for hours how to use, but all it did was make a constant chattering noise. His wife, Katie, did an online search and located me on TheRingFinders directory. Due to weather we held off on the search for a few days. On today’s date, 01-11-2026, it was a clear day, although a bit cold and windy. I arrived at 9am as promised and was briefed by Alvaro where he thought the ring could be. Three minutes and fourteen seconds later, I got the signal on my XP Deus 2 metal detector that I was hoping for. It was a pleasure finding Alvaro’s wedding band and meeting the young couple. Finding lost treasures for people that have all but given up hope of ever seeing that treasure again is a great feeling.

Men’s White Gold Wedding Ring with Diamonds Found in Nashville with a Metal Detector

I got a text from Nicole on Nov. 12th at about 4PM. She said her husband, Roy, was working at a home in Nashville today when he lost his white gold wedding band in the front yard. Nicole explained that the front yard was huge, however the area where Roy thought he lost his ring was confined to a much smaller area. She said Roy had already rented a metal detector and looked for his ring for several hours, along with his brother and the owner of the property. With sunset at 4:45PM tonight Nicole was worried about it being too dark for me to search for the ring. No worries I told her, telling her that I am well equipped for nighttime searches in the dark.

I arrived at the large estate in the Green Hills area of Nashville and met with Roy. After be showed me the areas of the front yard where he had been working, I fired up my metal detector, started a stopwatch and began a grid search. Just before the thirteen minute mark I located Roy’s ring in some wood chips adjacent to the concrete front porch to the residence. This was the first ring recovery for me where I actually saw the ring with my eyes before swinging the metal detector coil over it. It is Fall, so it’s quite possible that the ring had been concealed by fallen leaves and by the time I arrived they were blown away by the cool Fall breeze.

What’s important is that Roy was reunited with his wedding ring. He said he would have lost a lot of sleep if it wasn’t found. Roy thanked me and said now he will be able to pass his ring on to his son one day.
