Ring found in a field

  • from Mount Pleasant (Michigan, United States)

A friend of my wife and I called me to ask if I could find his bosses ring. They work for the local drain commission and while out in a field working, our friends boss brushed his pants off before getting into the truck losing his wedding ring in the tall grass. They tried to find it using the flashlights on their phones and a device that detects only Ferris metals with no luck. Luckily they marked their location with a flag. I met our friend in town and he drove us to the location. Our friend removed the flag and I swung right over where the flag had been and got a gold signal. I bent down with my pinpointer and there it was. It took me about 30 seconds.
