Fellow was tossing a football back & forth on the Seaside beach hotel (Monterey State beach). The guy felt his ring fly off, in the direction he’d been tossing. But couldn’t tell if it had gone straight down (at his feet area) versus “been launched afar”. And since dry sand immediately swallows, it was immediately invisible, no matter where they looked. After awhile, on their hands & knees, raking with their fingers, they found the Ringfinders directory.
I was able to be there within 20 minutes. And within 5 minutes after that, Bingo !
