Bob was preparing to hang his U.S. Flag on his house when his glasses fell off and landed in the shrubs of his flower bed. After searching for a while and successfully finding the glasses, he realized his sentimental gold ring had come off in the process! Bob searched the area diligently and even had help from his neighbors, but in the end the ring remained missing. Bob was put in touch with SRARC president Howard Metts, who made arrangements for a Ringfinders hunt. Howard and club member Mike Shuler went to work with hand-held pinpointers, searching in and around philodendrons and other bushes. After 25 minutes of finding roofing nails, Mike had the ring and held it out to a very emotional Bob! It was very moving to see how much it meant to Bob to have his ring back, and SRARC is glad to have been able to help.
