I was on my way home from a successful ring recovery this morning when I got a message from a lady who’s wedding ring was lost somewhere on her property. I told I would be there this evening to do an initial search.
When I got there she explained that she had temporarily put her ring with a few others in a container in the kitchen. One day, a few weeks ago, her very young daughter decided to try them on and go out in their large yard wearing them. Unfortunately one came up missing. At her age, she had no idea of the significance of that ring. So, they borrowed a metal detector, and didn’t have any luck with it.
They brought me out back and explained the areas that it might be in. I figured I could only cover about 1/3 of it in the couple hours that I had and promised to return if needed. I searched about 1-1/2 hours and was about to call it a day because it was getting dark and I was exhausted. There had been lots of signals, but just then I got a clear, gold tone. I pushed the pinpointer down into the lush, deep grass and there was a circle of white gold! I told the kids to go get Mom!!!
What a feeling to hand back a wedding ring to a young mother with a family.
2 rings in one day made me feel great!
