I received a phone message this morning from a young man Satvir K. of Brampton Ontario.
I called Satvir back and spoke to him. He had shovelled the snow late last night and then proceeded to spread salt on his driveway with his bare hands. When he came into his home he noticed his sentimental wedding band recent made/purchased in India was missing! Satvir went back out to check the snow banks for 3 hours with no success.
Satvir googled lost ring and “The Ring Finders Dot Com’ page came up!
I immediately headed down after speaking with him. Within 5 minutes I located Satvir’s beautiful wedding band at the bottom of the driveway! He and his Wife were so thrilled and very happy!
Here is a video link to the ring recovery!!
I am grateful that another charity donation has come into ‘The Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation’ through my fundraising page! Satvir receives a tax donation receipt!
Received a text and phone call from Adrian. His dear Friend Alexis was visiting him at Blue Mountain Village in Collingwood, Ontario.
Great Friends having a great time enjoy the many activities Blue Mountain has to offer! Wonderful dining and apres ski bars, day and night skiing, incredible spa packages with a tremendous European atmosphere!
They were enjoying a smoke on the balcony. Alexis flicked her cigarette butt off the balcony and her late Mother’s ring that was gifted to her flew off into the snow below.
Adrian purchased a metal detector from a local Canadian Tire store but had no luck! He then found and hired me off TheRingFindersDotCom website.
Adrian was determined to surprise Alexis to get this very sentimental and irreplaceable ring back to her! What an amazing Friendship!! Check out the video!!
Another donation coming into The Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation to help patients that need monetary support fighting this terrible disease!! #PayItForward !!
Thank you Adrian for entrusting me to help recover this special Heirloom Ring! I felt as if Alexis’s late Mother was telling me to tell Alexis to STOP SMOKING! lol
Received a text from Nancy as she had been into RADIOWORLD in north Toronto. She had explained to the sales staff that her Husband George had come home in the wee hours this morning and felt his wedding band slip off his finger. He heard a “ting” after his ring hit the sidewalk!
George & Nancy had spent a few hours going through the snow in the area George remembered losing his wedding band!
The sales staff had suggested to call me a local “Ring Finder”
I called Nancy after lunch and received details and headed out the door!
I had originally started with my Minelab Excalibur2 but quickly switched to my sweet Equinox800 due to chatter. Five minutes later I had that sweet solid tone!!
Check out the video;
Such a lovely young couple! Very appreciated to staff at Radioworld for the recommendation and grateful to have George’s beloved sentimental wedding band back!!
Thank you George & Nancy for you donation to The Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation!!! 🌸💖🌸
I received a text message from a fellow sled head Mark B to let me know his neighbour lost his 14k gold wedding band somewhere in the snow and to call him right away.
I call Tony H immediately. He advised that he was shovelling the snow and also walked down the road. He advised that the snow plow had just gone by. It was -7C and within 20 minutes of speaking to Tony H and headed down to Oakville.
As the story goes, Tony took off his gloves and within 5 minutes realized his wedding band came off. I started to grid search the driveway. Tony felt it could have been on the roadway so I continued onto the roadway. After 40 minutes I was drawn back to the driveway as the more questions I asked I felt he lost it when he took off his gloves. Within 5 minutes and 2′ off the driveway in 1′ of snow….BAM! Had a great tone on my Minelab Excalibur 2!! Tony was a great sport and very happy not to sleep outside in the dog house in the frigid temperatures!
Received a phone call inquiring if I can metal detect in snow for a lost ring. Of course I said yes. I was unable to make the time frame and sent a local & newly recruited ring finder member Glenn Boles.
I arrived an hour later and offered my assistance.
The client had just left. With-in 10 minutes of her leaving I located her Friend’s missing silver ring. Glenn & I called and asked if she could come back. She offered to bring coffee’s too.
We recreated the motions of finding her Friend’s lost ring. She was overjoyed and advised she will surprise her Friend Christmas Day. The ring was very sentimental.
