How to find lost ring Tahoe Tag | The Ring Finders

Lost Gold Wedding Ring Found, Donner Lake, Truckee, California

  • from South Lake Tahoe (California, United States)

Got a text yesterday afternoon at 4:27pm, from Cody, requesting a lost ring recovery search for her husband’s wedding ring in Donner Lake. This wedding ring was very special having originally belonged to his late father.
He had been climbing a rock, three hundred feet or so, offshore in Donner Lake. His hand slipped and off came his ring in about 8 feet of water.
We arranged to meet at the entrance to the Donner Memorial State Park at 8:00am.
By 8:15am they guided me to a shoreline location closest to the offshore rock.
I geared up and began swimming out to the rock. With my XP Deus 2 metal detector and Blu3 Nomad dive system, I was able to recover his ring in a short amount of time.
At 8:40am I handed the ring over. He and Cody were very happy and relieved to have his father’s ring back on his finger.

Lost Platinum Wedding Ring Found & Returned, Pope Beach, Lake Tahoe

  • from South Lake Tahoe (California, United States)

Got a text last night at 8:34pm requesting a lost ring recovery search at Pope Beach, Lake Tahoe.
Backstory: (Pope Beach the previous evening), Keaton placed his platinum wedding ring in his shirt, on the beach, before going for a swim. When he got back from the swim, he picked up his shirt and his ring fell into the sand and disappeared. He spent the better part of an hour searching, with no ring found.
Knowing of TheRingFinders.com way before he ever lost his ring, he knew exactly who to contact.
5:54am I started searching. Keaton provided a map, description of how he lost his ring and landmarks nearby.
All of which got me into the right area. My first solid signal, a 59 on my XP Deus 2 metal detector, ended up being his lost ring.
Keaton arrived at 6:30am, I handed the ring over, he was happy and relieved to have it back on his finger.
