Kings Beach, Lake Tahoe, California, September 10, 2026: Got a text requesting an underwater search for an iPhone 16 Pro Max. The search box was moderately large and located just east of the Kings Beach boat ramp. I arrived about 5:15pm, the wave chop was moderate and the water clarity wasn’t ideal. Total search time was a little over an hour and the phone was recovered in 8 feet of water.
The client was happy to get his phone back in good working condition (he lost it approximately at 3pm and I recovered it a little after 6:30pm).
