In all the excitement of Car-Week on the Monterey Peninsula, many families come out to see all the flashy sports cars and picnic on the beach. Junior must have executed quite the ace-serve playing beach volleyball with his kids, because his 24k white gold and diamond ring went flying into the pea-sand and vanished. This all went down at the John Denver Memorial rock in Pacific Grove. He told me the story, we used some deductive logic, walked over to the likely zone, and in three minutes time, a reliable 19 kept ringing on my Nox, next to a big boulder. It took some persistent scoop work but out popped this beauty. It’s always fun when the caller gets to reach in and pull the wedding band out of the basket! Congrats Junior, you’re out of the doghouse!
