I was contacted by Russian River adventures in Healsburg Ca. That one of their adventures lost his wedding ring in the river on their boat ride down the river. I told Max to give them my number and have them give me a call to see what I can do for them. Melissa, the wife of Nick. Who had lost his ring at some point but was not exactly sure what location it had fell off in the river. So I explained to them that we can meet in the morning and head out on the river first thing. Because getting there as soon as possible and getting in the right location Are too big factors in a successful recovery. Larry, the owner of Russian River adventures was kind enough to loan us two boats. So we set off to start the search and stopped at a few locations where he thought it might have fallen off while helping his wife and her boat. I searched and they looked as well as they could in the areas but did not find anything. So Nic had mentioned to me that he swam about the last hundred yards to the pick up location. That seemed like the likeliest place for him to have lost his ring.. In my experience. And I was starting to feel bad that I was not turning up anything for him. So as we got to the very end of the river and fatigue was setting in because the water was getting stronger and we had been looking for hours. I wanted to take a break. But I had one last signal that I wanted to check before getting out and taking a break. And bingo it was Nicks ring. I called him over and he went down and grabbed his ring and put it on his hand and stuck his hand up above the water. To show us that he had got it.. We all let out a whoop and yell. High-fives and hugs all around. And I was so relieved that I was able to return their precious ring. Overall, it was a great time. Melissa and Nic are really great people. And I was happy to be of service and return the ring. Thank you, Melissa and Nick for your generous reward.
