Engagement Ring Found! Dallas, GA

  • from Kennesaw (Georgia, United States)

Another ring lost raking leaves in Dallas, GA. This one was hard to find because the yard was full of targets. Many of them were coins. So I searched the leaf piles with no luck. Then systematically started removing underground targets to get a cleaner search area.  Then the 8 year old daughter brought her kid metal detector out and we searched together and found some coins and a hot wheel. Makes my day to hunt with the kiddos! After an hour or so, I dug out a large metal spring, and after removing it the ring was hiding in the iron shadow of the springs signal.  And….. While cleaning out the underground targets, I found the x-husbands wedding band that they did not know was in the yard. Haha. 🙂

I had a call from a fellow who “lost” three of his wife’s rings. Said they were about 75 feet from the driveway near the edge of the woods…… He went and bought a low end detector and found one, then called me. I searched for a couple of hours and scoured the area well, then found the big one in the brush, the wedding band is still MIA. He was super happy and mostly out of the dog house.
May be worth another trip back after they clean out the brush and metal junk from the area. 🙂
