Received a text from Alyssa stating she had lost her memorial diamond ring (diamond is made of ashes of her daughter that passed away 10 yrs ago) Diamond is set in a rose gold ring. WE HAVE TO FIND THIS!She had given the ring to her son to wear for a short time and in about 2 hours the ring came up missing. He had gone outside at one point and was throwing some trash into a trash can and thinks this is when the ring flew off his hand.
Upon arriving I met Alyssa and her husband Glenn and I asked Glenn if he was willing to help me search for the ring. I gave him a metal detector and a short lesson on how to use it. We had their son come out and show us his underhand throw toward the trash can. We searched that area over and over again and even searched in and around a firewood pile nearby.
After about 1 ½ hours we were almost ready to give up when we both walked back toward the back porch and Glenn saw the ring laying on the ground in plain sight. They had searched that area many times and I had also searched that area and we all missed it. Rings have an emotional link to them, but this one was special
