Last year around this time, I received a phone call from a guy that was asking for my help to find a wedding ring. We made arrangements and I met him at his house and he took me to a big field where he told me that the year before they had a camper set up out there, and that him and his wife had got into an argument. During that argument, she threw her wedding ring out into the field. The next day, after calming down and realizing what she had done, they searched and searched and searched, trying to find her wedding ring. This had bothered them for a whole year, trying everything they could to find the ring, even buying a metal detector themselves and trying to find it. They finally did a search on the Internet and my “theringfinders.com“ page come up and they reached out to me. The grass was pretty high, so he got on his mower and started to cut the grass in the area that he felt like the ring would’ve been and probably about 1 to 1-1/2 hour later I finally found it for them. I usually ask people to text me the story in their own words of how the item became lost, how did you find me etc…but she wanted to stay anonymous and she didn’t want to text me the story, which is fine with me and I understand. I didn’t post the story on the webpage or on facebook.
Fast forward to July of this year they reach out to me again with a lost ring.
She still wants to stay anonymous but this time she did text me the story of how she lost it.
I was swimming in the evening with my 3 children and husband and wanted to get the kids a popsicle so I hopped out with my baby boy and as I was dealing with a squirming 1 year old (unhappy he was getting out ) I felt something slip from my finger but at the time didn’t think anything of it, just in a hurry to get the popsicles for my kids and get my son and I back in the pool.
After a long evening of swimming and the kids finally in bed, my husband and I were watching a Netflix series and I looked down and realized my ring was gone. We tried looking for it for a few days and after having a similar experience years ago, we knew just who to call, The Ring Finder!
He was very responsive and able to come the next day my husband had reached out to him. So very happy to get my ring back!
