Wedding Ring Lost Bridgehampton

  • from Suffolk County (New York, United States)
Contact:

I received a call from Chris that he lost his wedding ring in Bridgehampton at a wedding reception. He asked if I could help and said I would be out the  next mourning. As usual traffic was bad going to the Hamptons, I made it and meet Chris at the Topping Rose House where the reception was held on Saturday.  I was hoping the grass wasn’t cut as a ring could get damaged by the lawn mower. It wasn’t.

Chris showed me a photo taken at the reception showing me the ring. he stated that later is when he didn’t have it on his finger. I asked where he was sitting and a few other questions.  I then got me detector and started searching.  It take long to find the ring in the grass. Looking down to where the ring was, could not see it, I used my pin pointer to located a closer spot and using my fingers I located it. I showed it to Chris and A big smile came across his face and with a shock in his voice he yells you found it.

Contact:

Received a call that a ring was lost at Rogers Beach in Westhampton Beach.  I told Howard that I would be there in about an hour.  When I got there I was shown the area that the ring was lost.  I had everyone move their beach chairs away from the area. I did a box search and shortly I found the ring. Howard was very happy and I when on home.

About  o’clock I get another call from Howard to say that the ring came off again and would I come back out to the beach.  I said of course and I left my house.  When I got to the beach Howard said the ring was in the same area as before.  Again I had everyone move there chairs and I did another search.  I found the ring in almost the same spot as my earlier search.  Howard said that this is the first time that  the ring has been off his finger in  years and it happen twice in one day

  • from Suffolk County (New York, United States)
Contact:

I received a call from Joann that she was walking her dog and that the leash got caught on her engagement ring and pulled the diamond setting off into the grass.  It was late but I told her I would come out. It was about 7:30 when I got there and she showed me the area that this happen. I searched until dark with no success.

I told her I would be back, it rained the next day and I said I would be out the following day.  I returned and started the search with a new method, using an all metal detecting trick I learned from a friend.  After a short time I found the diamond.  I called Joann and asked her to meet me in the area where the diamond was lost.  I showed her the Diamond and I received a big Hugh.
