Sentimental Ring Found, City Beach, Perth, Western Australia.
Cambell called about 10 am to ask if I could find a tungsten carbide ring he had lost about 5 pm yesterday, at City Beach. He explained he’d wrapped his sunnies, wallet, watch and a tungsten carbide ring his girlfriend had given him about a year ago, in a towel before going for a swim.
You guessed it.. after his swim he shook the towel out to dry off and spilled the towel’s goodies on the sand. He recovered his watch, wallet and sunnies but realised driving home he’d forgotten his ring and it wasn’t where it should be.. on his finger!

Mmm.. bit of a problem getting to the beach at present!
City beach is a very popular beach so I explained there was no time to waste. Unfortunately I was half way through changing the head gasket on my falcon so with no wheels I arranged for Cambell to pick me up from a train station near the beach and we both went from there to the site of the loss. Cambell had a few problems working out exactly where he had been on the beach as there had been a festival of some sort on the beach the day before and his landmarks had disappeared over night.

There you go Cambell.. that what youre missing?
After a while he felt he was in the right spot so I asked him to make an x in the sand as my centre point for my search area. Well he was pretty close in the end as only 7 mins after beginning the search I heard a nice loud ‘target’ in my headphones with the right attributes to be his ring.. a bit of fishing around in the sand and then I felt the unmistakeable shape of a ring.. I pulled it out and sure enough there it was.. yeeehaa!!
Love what I do..
