Platinum Wedding Band Lost Central Oregon – Found by The Ring Finders

  • from Hood River (Oregon, United States)

‘The Ring Finders’, good folks doing wonderful things to reunite people with their treasured jewelry… give us a call!

SJ sent an email and left a phone message as he was ending his vacation and sadly heading back home to California without his wedding band. I didn’t receive either until the following day as I was traveling too. Fortunately, when we did talk, he said there was a Point-of-Contact in Oregon who could put me in the area of his lost ring to within a 20′ radius; that’s all I needed. SJ’s details and replay of the incident, his contact’s familiarity of the location, and my Equinox 800 proved to be the perfect team in a successful find and return.

SJ, thank you for for the call and your trust in me that your prized possession was in good hands; it’s in the mail!

Hand Crafted Gold Pendant Lost Hillsboro OR – Found by The Ring Finders Portland

  • from Hood River (Oregon, United States)

Daryn asked if I could search for a Gold Pendant that was believed to be lost in their yard after hosting a party two weeks earlier. His mother-in-law had designed and crafted the solid gold vase/urn as a gift for his wife several years ago. After a thorough search of the backyard, most likely area, with my most sensitive small gold metal detector I asked Daryn of other likely areas Song, his wife, could have traveled. When he went into the house to get Song I decided to grab my Garrett Pinpointer and on my hands and knees started rooting around their small play structure. There, just under the slide and barely peeking out from the rubberized chips, was the glimmer of gold. I recovered the pendant quickly before Song had come outside and was able to give her the good news. Sobbing tears of joy and several long hugs clearly told the story of how special this piece was to her. Daryn told me this was the second time the pendant had fallen off the chain due to the clasp unhooking and that a new chain was probably their best insurance to prevent future loss.

It was such a pleasure talking with both of you and I’m glad I was able to help.
