I received a girl from a woman asking for my help finding her lost class ring that she had lost on the beach earlier in the week? She explained that she had taken the ring off to apply sunscreen and laid it on her beach towel but had forgotten to put it back on and didn’t realize util later that evening while home.

I was able to go to the section of beach the following morning to begin my search. This could a tough one as its not only a heavily searched beach by others with metal detectors but also gets groomed by the beach rake tractor daily that can not only move the ring but also bury it deep in the sand. The good thing was that where she was sitting by the rock jetty and the beach entrance is also a turn around point for the beach tractor and many things accumulate in this area rather than disappear quickly. I began searching the area using a grid pattern back and forth towards the water picking up multiple coins and trash items for the next hour. As I got closer to the rock jetty and large drainage pipe I began getting false signals from detector from the iron and minerals so I turned down the sensitivity some and proceeded until I was right on top of the rocks and pipe buried just beneath the sand and that’s when I got a good signal from my metal detector. I scooped up the sand and as I shook the scoop I could hear something clanking around which turned out to be her class ring! We met up the next weekend for the return. Another successful recovery! Another happy customer!

Lost Wedding Ring on Beach in Sea Bright,New Jersey Recovered by NJ Lost Ring Finder!

I received a call from John asking for my help recovering his wedding band he had lost the day before while on the beach. I had recovered a friend of his wedding band a few years back that was lost in the ocean in Long beach Island,NJ so he figured he’d give me a try? I arrived at the location where we had made arrangements at the private beach club to search the area where the ring was lost. I marked off the area and began my grid search waiting for John to arrive. After a few minutes of digging coins & trash John arrived and confirmed that I was in the right area but could probably shrink it down some more then what I had marked out. I told him I like to think outside the box and decided to just keep the search area the size I had chose since he told me that he moved his beach chair a few times throughout the day. About 20 minutes later there was his ring in my scoop! I called out to John and held his ring up! He was just amazed that i had found it and that was found just outside the area where he thought it was lost in so was glad I chose to go bigger. He was very excited and grateful for my service and looked forward to telling his wife the great news! Another great day of the beach! Recovery #102
