Lost Wedding and Engagement Rings in Saratoga Lake, Saratoga Springs New York

  • from Saratoga Springs (New York, United States)

I will never forget the first time I received a call from someone who contacted me through the ring finders directory. It was mid-summer 2014 and Cassandra was in complete emotional turmoil when I first spoke with her about how she lost her engagement and wedding band set at the bottom of Saratoga lake. She was swimming at a popular spot that is only reachable by boat, Sandy bay. At some point or another the water shrunk her finger slightly and she never felt her set of rings slip off and burrow into the sand. She returned to Sandy bay multiple times to search for the rings but all efforts proved fruitless. When I spoke with her I assured her to remain positive because because I have a waterproof detector, and I will change my schedule around to make her recovery efforts a priority. Early in the morning Cassandra’s friend took us out to Sandy bay with his speed boat. When we got to Sandy bay she pointed out the general area she remembered swimming and I got out of the boat and started to swing my metal detector. Her memory served her correct because within 20 minutes we found the 2 missing rings. Words can not describe her excitement and relief. The look of joy on her face forever embedded in my memory. Lost Ring in Green Island New York Recovery

  • from Saratoga Springs (New York, United States)

On 2/17/15, I drove out to Green Island New York to help Allie find her Wedding and Engagement ring, that was soldered together. During a fight with her husband the previous week, Allie removed her ring in spite and launched it into the backyard. In the aftermath she realized how foolish she was and began to search for the set in 18 inches of snow. After many searches were made using different techniques including pouring hot water to melt the snow she felt defeated. The ring set was insured for many thousands of dollars but did not cover loss. During a Google search of how to find a lost ring Allie stumbled across directory and immediately sends me a urgent email. The next day in an hours time she is wearing her lovely ring set again. I documented the entire recovery and called the local press, two days later the Times Union published the article… See video and article

Lost Ring In Albany New York Recovery

  • from Saratoga Springs (New York, United States)

Gene Leclaire lost his wedding band while removing ice off his windshield wipers at Dunkin Donuts on Washington Ave in Albany New York. It was in the beginning of February when upstate New York was covered with over 15 inches of snow during a brutal storm when Gene pulled off to clean his car and his worst nightmare was realised. The 14 karat yellow gold wedding band that had a number of diamonds and was a gift from his wife had slipped off and fell into the snow somewhere. To top it all off it was a custom ring made to be a replica of the brides grandfather’s wedding ring. Gene suffered for 3 weeks with stress and anxiety wondering if he would ever see the custom ring again. He called Steven Bell a member of and was assured to be optimistic. On 2/22/15, after 1 hour of searching snow banks pushed together by plow trucks Gene was reunited with the beloved ring that signified his love and marriage. See video
