Mark was playing football out in about 4 foot of water when his ring came off. I had to wait until the next day due to the tide. It took me about 2 hours and had to get Mark to come out and help me locate where he had been. They were both very grateful and happy with the return.
Steve is a literal angel on earth.
This is Ali, Mark’s wife, and Steve isn’t kidding when he says we were grateful for his help (really, that’s a wild understatement!). I found the Ring Finder site on a whim after running some google searches for what to do if you lost a ring. Steve works in the Virginia Beach area so I texted him having zero expectations (and mild skepticism over this process!). Steve texted me back right away and we had a call to talk through what happened, and he came up first thing the next morning to help. Meeting Steve you can see that he’s genuine and truly there to help (seriously), which put us right at ease. Steve was out in the ocean for over two hours with us, never giving up (even when we were losing hope!). We were in shock when he actually found it! The ring is so important to us; it felt like a miracle.
Steve is kind, hard working, and gifted with the detector. We truly couldn’t be more grateful to him. If you’ve lost something metal in the ocean in Virginia Beach area (and it’s reasonably close to shore), don’t hesitate to contact Steve. He’s a hero.
