Masters student Alison couldn’t recover her water depth sensor in the Humber river due to the water temperature & depth.
On December 14 I took the plunge & after less than 30 min located her $700 sensor. She is now able to complete her Masters & re-use the expensive sensor.
🙂
Paul did an excellent job! Despite icy December conditions and a stubborn water level sensor, he worked swiftly to remove the small sensor stuck to the river bed that I was unable to retrieve in the autumn. Thanks to the recovery dive, I got my device back along with the months worth of data it was storing. I am so grateful for Paul’s assistance; he played such an integral part in saving my research!
