- Land/Shallow Water Search
Cost For My Service
I work on a ''Reward Basis'' you pay what it's worth to you and what you can afford to have me find your lost item. I have a call-out fee of $25.00 if the item is not found, this covers my fuel expenses. (Maybe more or less depending on where you are located)
Land and beach - sand and shallow water. For beach hunts the quicker you call after losing an item, the more likely I am to find it. Searches not limited to rings ! Have also found and returned keys, earrings, watches, and cellphones. If it’s metal, I can find it.
Mobile and Baldwin Counties - Mobile, Dauphin Island, Daphne, Fairhope, Spanish Fort, Foley, Elberta, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach.
Barbara Burgess's Bio
I have been metal detecting off and on for 30 years, and more seriously for the past 5.
My husband is also an avid detectorist and often accompanies me on lost items searches so you are essentially getting two experienced persons for the price if one. Between the two of us, we have an array of several high end metal detectors using some of the most advanced detecting technology. (Equinox 800, Deus, Excalibur, AT Pro)
We have done multiple searches and returns in the past, including a 1970 University of Tennessee class ring returned to the owner almost 50 years after he lost it - you may have seen me in the news.
I look forward to reuniting you with your cherished lost items.

It was quite some time ago when Brittnee’s mom asked if I could find her daughter’s lost class ring. It was very sentimental to her as it had been bought for her by her now deceased grandmother. The only problem was that she gave me a very large search area on the beach – everywhere […]
Night before last I got a call from Lacey asking if I could come find her sister Nichole’s lost James Avery charm bracelet in the sand at the beach. She had placed it in her chair cup holder, but apparently forgot and dumped it out when picking it up to put it away. It was […]
I saw a post this morning on our local beach page – someone had also tagged my ringfinders page. I had to run a quick errand and then headed to Dauphin Island, Alabama to see if I could help out. Thankfully it was a smallish area – her husband had felt his wedding ring slip […]
I saw a Facebook post yesterday about a lost University of Alabama class ring. Being an avid Alabama fan as well as a relative of former championship quarterback AJ McCarron, I knew I had to go look for it ! Dylan thought he had put the ring on top of one of the beach chairs […]
