I received a text message in regards to a lost cell phone in Surrey. It turned out to be this young ladies work phone, it was very important she find it for obvious reasons so her and her family were searching the area she was getting a ping location from ”find my phone”
What happened was the young lady put the phone on top of the car while she was strapping her young son in the backseat and forgot she had put the phone on top of the car. Her husband was driving and as she was in the backseat with her son, she noticed something fly past the window and realized that was her phone. They stopped and searched the area with no luck they found a piece of the back of the phone, but nothing else.
For the next couple of days the phone was ringing and it showed it by the side of the highway just by the onramp where they came on to the freeway. Many days have passed and they reached out to me to see if I could search the side of the highway in long grass by a ditch. I started my search by walking up the side of the highway where I found the protective case way down the highway, I sent her the picture and she said that was the case I started searching, but had no luck so I decided to go up the on ramp where I happen to see a little glimmer on the side of the highway in the last lane closest to the on ramp. It was the phone and it was flatten! I found it and hopefully it’s enough that the insurance will cover the phone so they can get a free one.
I love my job!!
