Cost For My Service

I work on a reward basis, which means I ask that you pay only what you feel is fair when I find your lost item. I have a call out fee of $35 if the item is not found, this helps cover my fuel and expenses. Call out fee may be waived in special circumstances or adjusted for distance or if specialized equipment is required, but we can discuss this when you call. I also work with insurance companies on a percentage basis for recovery and return of the item vs a claim cash payout.

Search Types

4 Seasons, All Weather, Beaches, Parks, Fresh Water/Ocean& Yards... I am also SCUBA (PADI) certified and equipped to search underwater. I can also search for buried caches, time capsules placed in the past. If you've lost your ring, jewellery, keys, etc. in the snow, sand, or water please call me ASAP, as these mediums can shift the location of the item with time.

Search Locations

Based out of Fredericton, NB, but I can hunt anywhere in New Brunswick and surrounding provinces. Willing to hunt anywhere internationally, just call and we can discuss details.

Steve Bober's Bio

I have been metal detecting since '82 (37 yrs). What I love finding most, is your treasures, things that are important and special to you, and then seeing the smiles and tears on your faces as I place, what you believed lost forever, back into your hands. In my hundreds of searches and thousands of hours of metal detecting experience, I can still picture each person's face as they saw their lost item back in their hands again. Those are the real treasures of doing what I do. Now I have the fortune to be working with an international team of metal detecting professionals and specialists here at The Ring Finders, and my hope is to add your smiling face to my memories. Please contact me, so I can help you.
