Cost For My Service

I work on a voluntary reward basis with an amount agreed upon in advance and usually based upon the lost item's value, either sentimental or monetary.

***You only reward me if the lost item is found.***

However, if the item is not found there will only be a $50* call-out fee to cover fuel and vehicle expenses. This fee is charged even if the lost item is not recovered.

*Searches conducted beyond the local area of more than a half-hour drive from downtown Indianapolis or Greencastle (each way) may incur additional travel costs, which will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.

Search Types

I may be contacted by telephone anytime, day or night.

My metal detecting equipment allows me to search most outdoor locations, including yards, farms, beaches, parks, woods (without excessive underbrush) campgrounds/RV parks, and small puddles and streams (water depth of about 12 inches).

I am capable of locating lost (ferrous & nonferrous) metallic items such as jewelry, keys, gold, silver, and iron (survey markers) at depths of up to 6-8 inches.

If a lost item is on private property or on State land, it may be necessary to obtain prior permission from the land owner or land authority prior to conducting a search. I am happy to assist you with this process.

After discussing your needs, if I have concerns that a search and recovery of your lost item may require more expertise or resources than what I am able to provide, I will do my best to refer you to another RingFinders member who may be able to better assist you (i.e. Underwater Recovery).

Search Locations

Indianapolis, Greencastle, Terre Haute, Bloomington, Lafayette, Kokomo, Anderson, Muncie, Columbus and surrounding areas.
