I received a call from Lois about a lost wedding ring in East Hampton’s Indian Wells Beach.  It was late afternoon and I said I would be out First thing in the mourning. I would meet her at the beach.  She told me that she would not be there as she had to work.  I asked her to send me a copy of Maps with the area marked as to where it was lost.  I received the maps and started out for the beach.  When I got there I called and she described The location as to the Right of the life guard stand and in front of it. and about 50 yards from the stand.  Not knowing the exact area I did a search larger than What she told me.  It took a little more than an hour, but I did find the ring.  Texted a photo of the ring  to her and made arrangements to meet.  I meet up with Lois and returned the ring as you can see from the photo another smiley  face.

I was in Hampton Bays just finished finding an I-Phone. I was checking email and messages and saw a text from Jacqueline. She said that last night while taking out the garbage that her ring came off and was in the snow.  I go to directions to the house and headed over there.  While in route I called her and said was on my way, she said that wasn’t home but working in the city.  She told the area that the ring was lost in and that I should call if there was a problem.

There was a lot of snow and ice by the garbage cans as well as a lot of bushes. I searched the area with no luck. I then started in the bushes and they were over grown a little so It was hard getting the detector head into them. After moving the branches in different direction I finally got a signal like ring. on my hands and knees I dug out the ring.  Back at the car I called Jacqueline and told her I found the ring. She said that she would not be out to the house till the weekend.  We agreed to hide the ring in a spot that she could find easily.

I was out Wednesday mourning with my metal detector and started the search in the front yard near the house.  It didn’t take long before I got a very strong signal and after moving the snow from on top there it was.  I gave the phone Gianna who turned it on and it came to life like it was never in the snow
