Lost Ring Found on Silicon Valley Volleyball Court
Bahubali was practicing with his team for a volleyball game this afternoon. But before the game even started, his handmade wedding ring flew off when he hit the ball. He knew it flew into the sand, but he could not see any trace of it. Being a loyal team player, he played the game, helping his team win the tournament. But he could not find the ring anywhere.
Bahubali searched the internet for metal detectors and metal detector rentals, and found TheRingFinders. I was able to make it out today before sunset. He showed me where he was standing, and how he hit the ball.
Fortunately, the sand was very clean, with no bottle caps or coins like you find on the beach. Within just a few minutes I got my first tone on the detector. It was Bahubali’s handmade ring from southern India.
When I noticed that it was a deeper orange color than most gold rings, he explained that the ring was made of 24K gold. If you’ve never seen pure gold before, you will be surprised at the color. It is also very soft, as Bahubali demonstrated that it was easier to bend his ring than copper wire of similar diameter. It’s a great looking ring!
