RING LOST ON VENICE BEACH, RECOVERED BY SRARC

Abbey and her sister Ameilia were escaping the cold weather of their home state of Wisconsin by visiting Venice Beach. They were standing in waist-deep water when Abbey dropped her diamond engagement ring while playing with it on her finger. She instinctively plugged her nose and dove for the ring, but the soft Venice sand instantly had it covered. Abbey found a passing metal detectorist who spent an hour trying to retrieve her lost ring, but to no avail. Abbey’s sister found SRARC online and made contact with the club’s president, Howard Metts. Howard and Mike Shuler met with Abbey and Amelia the next day, and the two showed Howard and Mike right where they were standing when the loss occurred. They were so accurate that within two minutes Mike was pulling the ring out of his scoop and handing it to a delighted Abbey! We’re so glad that Abbey is returning to Wisconsin with her precious ring!

Ring Lost in Sarasota is Recovered by SRARC

Last year we had a very successful recovery where we returned 5 rings and two watches out of one yard. A year later, Renee called us back after being absent from her home for a few months and discovering on her return that several jewelry items were missing. She was hoping that they had been thrown into the yard again. Mike Miller and Carl Boekemier hunted for several hours and determined that none of the missing items were in the yard. We did recover one Man’s wedding ring which had ben lost years earlier. Now we can say we recovered 6 rings and 2 watches from the same yard. We also want to wish Renee good luck on finding her missing items one of which was the Rolex watch we recovered on our first hunt.

Sarasota 5 Ring, 2 Watch Recovery

Over the past year Renee and Eddy had lost, for various reasons, multiple items in the yard of their home. Mike Shuler, Bill Gallant, and Mike Miller went to the house after Renee contacted us in hopes of finding her recently lost Rolex watch. She let us know that Eddy had also lost 3 rings over the past 3 years. We went to work at 9:00 am and kept at it until 12:00 noon. The result was a SRARC Ring Finders first. Bill found 2 men’s rings, 1 ladies ring, a Rolex Watch, and a Timex watch. Mike found 1 man’s ring and 1 ladies ring. With a total of 5 rings and 2 watches it was a fantastic recovery effort. Needless to say Renee was overjoyed. Great Job Guy’s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
