Lost Wedding Ring Ocean City,NJ Recovered on beach!

I received a call from a gentleman who had lost his white gold wedding ring in the surf while playing with his kids while on vacation in Ocean City. He stated that he lost the ring the day before and actually saw it fall off his finger but couldn’t grab it before it disappeared into the sand & waves. Quickly thinking he took some quick notes as to nearby landmarks, time of day and depth of water where the loss had taken place and drew a detailed map in hopes of returning and finding the ring. Arriving onsite at low tide we reviewed the map and setup a search area. I started my grid pattern and after digging a few coins and trash items but no ring I began to get a bit concerned but continued on. Then his brother in-law arrived and stated he felt we were off a little in our search area so I started working my way towards the other area. Within a few grid searches I received a nice signal on my detector and called them over saying “This sounds good and is probably your ring” I scooped out some sand and brushed the pile with my foot and out rolled his ring Lol! They were amazed not only that I found it but I called it! An instant sense of relief had come to the owners face as it was putting a real damper on the family vacation and now could go show his family that we found it. Back to having a great time as planned. Another great recovery!   Recovery # 109

I received a call from a guy that had lost his gold/platinum with diamonds wedding ring on a volleyball court during a company employee outing at the Johnson & Johnson corporate complex earlier in the week. He wasn’t sure exactly where the ring came off but was sure it was somewhere on the court. Arriving at the seen I figured this was a good opportunity to try out the new White’s MX7 metal detector and after a quick setup the search was underway. Deciding to half the court at a time a started to grid the area back & forth and completed the first half with no luck. Moving on and halfway through the second half I received a solid signal right where the sand meets the grass of the court. Observing the display screen of the MX7 it showed a gold vdi reading and as I looked down at the sand I could see the very edge of the ring hidden in the sand. I called over the very worried customer and showed him the ring laying in my sand scoop. “Absolutely Amazing” were his first words accompanied with a huge smile and look of relief on his face,he was extremely thankful for my help and professional service. Another happy customer! Recovery# 110

I received this call on my way home from work from a gentleman asking for my help as his wife had lost her wedding rings on the beach in Stone Harbor,Nj earlier that day. He explained that she had taken them off to apply sunscreen and laid them on the beach towel and forgot them when they went to leave for the day losing them in the sand. Fortunately they quickly remembered took note of the area they were sitting and marked off the area by counting the posts for the sand dune fence and landmarks. I arrived at the beach with my White’s TDI metal detector and started a grid pattern in the area and after few minutes had the first ring in my scoop! The husband was amazed and as I took a couple steps got another signal and had the second ring in the scoop and I could see the instant relief on his face. After only 15 minutes of searching all of his worries were over and he couldn’t wait to tell his wife and go back to enjoying his family vacation. I received a call from a farmer explaining that while clearing brush from one of his farms he had lost his wedding ring. Although he had felt it was within a certain area it was still a rather large search area. Arriving at the farm the next day(Christmas Eve) we discussed the events that led up to the loss and began searching the most likely areas. Unfortunately things were not going as easy as we had hoped as the the ring was still missing and we were running out of spots to search after about an hour. Moving on we decided to expand an area where he had parked his truck and after just a few minutes I looked over to him and said Merry Christmas! He looked at me for a second and then said You found it? I responded,”Look right there” as I pointed to the ground. He couldn’t believe it and said it was a miracle and couldn’t wait to call his wife with the great news. A time of miracles! Merry Christmas!      Recovery#107

I received a call from a couple asking for my help to find a family crest ring that was lost on the beach earlier that day. The guy had taken it off to go swimming and put it in a handbag but somehow it had fallen out when they left. He explained that everyone in his family has the same ring bearing their family crest so it really meant a lot to him.

We arrived at the spot where they had been sitting on the beach and I marked off a 20 x 20 area and began to search the area with my White’s Beach Hunter ID metal detector. After a few coins and trash items I received a good solid gold signal and scooped up the sand and spotted his ring in my scoop! The couple was sitting nearby hoping the ring to be found and as I held it in the air I could see the relief on their faces. Another great day! Recovery #104

In celebration of her pregnancy Suzy & Kostek decided to go to Cape May,NJ for their babymoon. Enjoying beautiful scenery, beach and resorts they decided to treat themselves to a local day spa. They both removed their wedding rings and put them in a compartment in her pocketbook. While paying her husband retrieved his wedding band and seen her 2 rings (engagement & wedding band) in the compartment. Unfortunately it was pouring rain outside so they had to move quickly back to the car. Just a few minutes later they arrived at a restaurant a few blocks away. Again moving quickly from the car to the restaurant entrance. When they got to the counter Suzy decided to put on her rings but they diamond engagement ring was gone! They quickly began retracing their steps back to the car, searching the sidewalk and surrounding area but no ring? Unfortunately their relaxing time had changed for the worse to a panic and restless evening. That’s when they found out about The Ring Finders lost jewelry recovery services. They contacted a local metal detectorist in the Cape May area (Jeff Lagg) but unfortunately was out of town on vacation but directed them to me.

Arriving at the day spa the following morning we went over her steps one by one and began searching the area inside and out of the spa. No luck inside on floors, chairs or entrance way. moving outside I searched the stone/gravel parking lot and landscaping but no ring so we decided to move on to the restaurant around the block. Again we searched the areas but still no ring? I told her something just doesn’t seem right and I assured her that if it was there I would have found it. I asked about her pocketbook and the car? She stated they had searched them but we decided to search them again. Looking in the car with no luck we examined the pocketbook and discovered a tiny slot where the lining thread had come undone that I couldn’t even get my finger tip into but we could feel the ring between the lining lol! What a sense of relief came over her face as we all laughed about the situation lol! They were very thankful for my thoroughness and services. I was glad to see her smiling and enjoying her Babymoon again! Congratulation Suzy & Kostek!             Recovery #103

I received a call from John asking for my help recovering his wedding band he had lost the day before while on the beach. I had recovered a friend of his wedding band a few years back that was lost in the ocean in Long beach Island,NJ so he figured he’d give me a try? I arrived at the location where we had made arrangements at the private beach club to search the area where the ring was lost. I marked off the area and began my grid search waiting for John to arrive. After a few minutes of digging coins & trash John arrived and confirmed that I was in the right area but could probably shrink it down some more then what I had marked out. I told him I like to think outside the box and decided to just keep the search area the size I had chose since he told me that he moved his beach chair a few times throughout the day. About 20 minutes later there was his ring in my scoop! I called out to John and held his ring up! He was just amazed that i had found it and that was found just outside the area where he thought it was lost in so was glad I chose to go bigger. He was very excited and grateful for my service and looked forward to telling his wife the great news! Another great day of the beach! Recovery #102

The very happy family cheered from the dock as I handed back to an incredibly relieved man who was now just about in tears of joy. I received a call from Mark who explained that he had lost his platinum wedding band on the beach a few days before his wedding anniversary which was inscribed in the ring. He stated that he had taken the ring off and put it in the cup holder of his chair so he could go swimming and not lose it,well that didn’t workout to well as he noticed it was gone when he relocated his chair as the tide was coming in. After getting the beach location and time of day of the lose I was able to get the location the following morning. After a couple hours of searching with nothing but coins and trash in my pouch I decided to move closer to the water even though he stated he was not too far down and within a few minutes I received a good solid signal from my metal detector. Scooping up some sand and washing it out I could see the ring in my scoop! looking closer I could see the inscribed wedding date 7-25-08 which was also the date at which I found it 7-25-17! moments later I called Mark who was celebrating his anniversary nearby in Atlantic city with his wife. He was so happy to hear the great news but his wife was even happier and crying and so thankful for my help. We met the following week and Mark was very happy to have his wedding ring back on his finger! Another Great Recovery #99!

Lost Wedding ring on Popomoro Point Beach Recovered by Nj Lost Ring Finder

I received an email from Jon asking for my help recovering his lost wedding ring. He explained that he had lost it on a beach on the 4th of July nearly 2 weeks ago when he folded up his beach chair. He had taken the ring off to go swimming and put the ring in the chairs cup holder but forgot when they were leaving and folded the chair up and losing his ring in the sand. After speaking with him on the phone he stated that this was a bay beach and not a lot of traffic or ocean waves were there so maybe it would be there? I agreed it was definitely worth a shot and met his wife at the beach a few days later. Once I arrived at the beach I definitely was optimistic as there were only a few people on this tucked away little piece of paradise beach. As his wife and kids set up their beach blanket I staked out they area with some flags and began my search for his white gold wedding band. The kids enjoyed tagging along for the search and were having fun digging targets and even trying the metal detector. After searching for about 20 minutes I received a good solid gold signal at about 5 inches deep. I scooped up the sand and shook the scoop revealing the nice heaving gold wedding inside! Everyone was so excited and were amazed at it recovery. The 7 year old son stated “I am so happy for my Dad” Awe! An absolutely great family and recovery!   #98 Lost ring recovery!!!
