Nitin from Brampton & Bhavna from Caledon were recently engaged to be married within the last week. They made a trip up to Blue Mountain Village in Collingwood, Ontario for some fresh air and a day out!
Nitin decided to make a snow ball on the pathway between the parking lot and the village stores. He felt his 11g 14k white brushed gold and diamond filled engagement band fall off his finger.
Nitin purchased a metal detecting as well as a blow torch to melt the snow. Unfortunately, Nitin had no success but tried his best.
Nitin searched the internet and found the ‘The Ring Finders Dot Com’ directory where he found my information. We made arrangement to meet at the Village on Monday late afternoon.
With-in 54 seconds, I had a sold 9 VDI signal on my Minelab Equinox 800 detector with-in 2” in the snow. I cleared the snow with my boot and spotted the Nitin’s engagement band!!
Check out the video and surprise;
A very happy couple alongside Bhavna’s Mother who was visiting from overseas. All were elated with joy!
Nitin made a generous donation to the “Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation’ on my behalf at my requirement for my ‘pay-it-forward’ campaign raising charity donation using my passion for metal detecting/scuba dive detecting for this charity I’ve been associated with 13 of 22 years!!
Thank you Nitin & Bhavna for allowing me the honour to recover and return Nitin’s sentimental engagement ring!
I wish you both much love & forever happiness with your upcoming nuptials in May! Blessings to all!
Received a text and phone call from Adrian. His dear Friend Alexis was visiting him at Blue Mountain Village in Collingwood, Ontario.
Great Friends having a great time enjoy the many activities Blue Mountain has to offer! Wonderful dining and apres ski bars, day and night skiing, incredible spa packages with a tremendous European atmosphere!
They were enjoying a smoke on the balcony. Alexis flicked her cigarette butt off the balcony and her late Mother’s ring that was gifted to her flew off into the snow below.
Adrian purchased a metal detector from a local Canadian Tire store but had no luck! He then found and hired me off TheRingFindersDotCom website.
Adrian was determined to surprise Alexis to get this very sentimental and irreplaceable ring back to her! What an amazing Friendship!! Check out the video!!
Another donation coming into The Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation to help patients that need monetary support fighting this terrible disease!! #PayItForward !!
Thank you Adrian for entrusting me to help recover this special Heirloom Ring! I felt as if Alexis’s late Mother was telling me to tell Alexis to STOP SMOKING! lol
Adam & Lindsay from Kingston, ON we’re visiting Wasaga Beach 3 with Family members! The guys were playing with a bounce ball in the water when Adam felt and saw his wedding band fall off his finger into the water. The three guys all started looking to try to see the ring but had no luck.
Lindsay was checking beach goers to see if anyone had swim googles to loan to assist looking for the ring underwater.
Ann Maria and Kaitlin visiting the beach from Collingwood had suggested calling THE RING FINDERS Alison as they had recently saw a post of another ring recovery & return the previous day!
I had been dealing with a blown serpentine belt on my diesel truck and advised I could attend the location in an hours time to assist.
Arrived and discussed the details of how Adam had lost his wedding ring. Decided to complete a circular grid at first but after 6 passes changed to a back and forth grid. After 45 minutes, I had a beauty of a tone.
I had winked to my Friends Heather & Greg (Greg fixed my truck hours before) to restart the video…then the surprise!!
Check out the video!!
Adam was in disbelief!! I could see that he was giving up….but I never give up!
I wish this lovely young couple the very best for the arrival of their first born child in October!! Also, I I am grateful to have another donation coming into the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation for my PAY-IT-FORWARD fundraising efforts!! Using my passion for metal detecting for charity!!
Received a phone call from Louise early this morning. She was quite upset that yesterday she saw her “engagement ring fused wedding band” came off her finger waist deep in Nottawasaga Bay Area of Georgian Bay in The Blue Mountains area of Collingwood, ON 🇨🇦 They
Her Husband of 36 years, Johan had used Google…and “The Ring Finders” website popped up!
I met them a few hours later. Started to search the area. Shortly after I expanded it close to shore and 2’ behind the stone marker I had a slamming signal on my Minelab Excallibur2!! One scope…the the surprise!! Quite tears of joy! These ring are extremely sentimental in more ways than one ♥️♥️
Johan had just stepped away for a few minutes when the rings were recovered so we made a 2nd surprise!
I am honoured to have helped in the recovery & return of Louise’s beautiful sentimental rings! I am also grateful for their generous donation to The Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation!!! PAY-IT-FORWARD
