LOST PLATINUM/ROSE GOLD & DIAMOND RING IN SNOW Brampton, Ontario

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

I received a phone message this morning from a young man Satvir K. of Brampton Ontario.

I called Satvir back and spoke to him. He had shovelled the snow late last night and then proceeded to spread salt on his driveway with his bare hands. When he came into his home he noticed his sentimental wedding band recent made/purchased in India was missing! Satvir went back out to check the snow banks for 3 hours with no success.

Satvir googled lost ring and “The Ring Finders Dot Com’ page came up!

I immediately headed down after speaking with him. Within 5 minutes I located Satvir’s beautiful wedding band at the bottom of the driveway! He and his Wife were so thrilled and very happy!

Here is a video link to the ring recovery!!

I am grateful that another charity donation has come into ‘The Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation’ through my fundraising page! Satvir receives a tax donation receipt!

Thank you for your kindness Satvir!

LOST SENTIMENTAL 925 SILVER RING IN BRAMPTON, ON PARK GRASS

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

I received a phone call from Sam from Brampton, Ontario as he lost a very sentimental 925 silver ring recently.

Sam was walking his two dogs in a City of Brampton park. He ran with the dogs when the leashes crossed and came to a stop 40’ away! He realized he had lost his cell phone and his silver ring!

Sam luckily found his cell phone that night but not his ring. Sam then rented a metal detector which sounded like they gave him a locates machine. He then turned to YouTube to find one of my ring recovery videos but also a former member of “The Ring Finders” ‘Mark’ suggested he look up “The Ring Finders” to find a dedicated detectorist close to his location to aid in the search!

I advise Mark my fee and my “Pay-It-Forward” program that when I find his ring he is to in-turn make an on-line charity donation towards the “Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation”

We searched through the long knee deep grass with no success for 1 hour & 40 minutes. After 20 minutes I decided to switch my medium sized coil on the MINELAB Equinox 800 to the small coil! Continued to search and go over the initial search areas! No luck! I then went over the first area search  but expanded towards the path and BOOM!!!! FOUND IT!! Saw the silver and started the video…. check it out!! He’s making a DONATION!!!

https://youtu.be/

I ….NEVER…. like giving up and offered to come back throughout the week once the grass was cut!! But we had FAITH!!

NOTHING BEATS THE SHEAR EXCITEMENT & AMAZEMENT IN THE CLIENTS REACTION!!!

LOST WALLET WHILE SHOVELLING SNOW Brampton, ON 🇨🇦

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

I saw a fellow motorcycle rider from my SCRC chapter 363 “PEELERS” group he posted on Facebook that he lost his wallet while shovelling snow from the last winter storm on February 28th, 2019.

i posted the he knew a profession metal detectorist…. lol

i asked if he had any change or metal in the wallet so the detector could pick up a signal and he did indeed have change from Tim “Timmies” Horton coffee run!!

I popped over Friday morning during my 10 minute coffee break and found his wallet quickly on the other side of the snowbank on the front lawn area!!

Check out the YouTube video

I waived my fee but requested only a donation to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Fondation would be greatly appreciated! “PAY-IT-FORWARD”!!

Tiffany & Co Platinum 950 wedding band lost in snow! Brampton, ON

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Received a phone call from Steven during a search for lost keys in the snow for a lost Platinum 950 men’s wedding band in Brampton, Ontario. I advised that I will be happy to attend in a few hours after my ongoing recovery of lost keys.

Last Thursday and Friday was Southern Ontario’s first winter snow event….and guess what!! Here comes another round of ‘lost’ special items!!

I headed down to Brampton and met up with Steven. He advised that he was horsing around in the snow with his Brother and didn’t know if he lost it throwing snow or wrestling in the snow with his Brother….

Well, after a swing with the Minelab Equinox 800 and the hydro primary conductor and overhead secondary lines….there was a great deal of interference! So I swapped Noxie out to my #1 machine the Minelab Excalibur 2! Not only is the Excal2 amazing in water…and beach…it ROCKS on land and SNOW!!

Few minutes later after the switch…..BINGO IN THE  DRIVEWAY…..the wedding band was stuck in ice!! Little did I know it was a absolutely stunning and heavy “Tiffany & Company” ‘Double Milgrain’ wedding band! My FIRST T&C recovery and return. I am sure honoured they will be making a “PAY-IT-FORWARD” donation to my participation in the 2019 20th annual Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation Snow Run in February 2019 in which they will receive a tax receipt from the foundation!

Here’s a link to the YouTube video for this recovery and return;

Thank you Stephen for your donation to my charity!! NO MORE SNOWBALLS LOL!!

Brampton, Ontario~Lost mens 21k gold ring in the snow!

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

2017-12-14 Brampton, Ontario

I received a phone call from a young man who wishes to remain anonymous.

He mentioned that he was throwing snowballs in the front yard of his rental home and because of the extremely cold weather his 21k gold ring flew off his finger.

I proceed the next day to go immediately after work as it was a short distance away.

I started a grid search using my trusty Minelab Excallibur 2. I took should have had winter gloves on but within 15 minutes and knowing the ring would be just under the snow tucked into the grass I found it!!

He was a very happy young man!!

Lost Gold Eagle pendant playing Volleyball @ Professors Lake~Brampton, ON

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Received a phone call from a young man from Malton, Ontario. He was playing volleyball on the weekend with his Friends at the beach volleyball area at Professors Lake Brampton, Ontario when he noticed both his gold plated cross as well las his 14k gold eagle pendant was missing because his large chain was broken. He was heartbroken more the the eagle pendant was missing as is it was a gift from his Aunt.

After obtaining permission from City of Brampton staff to metal detect for the young mans jewellery, I met him there in the early evening. (Lucky I work for COB!!)

I started without him as the skies were getting dark and was worried we would have to leave due to the storm approaching and our personal safety. I started grinding the west beach court….then the east. Within 20 minutes after the young man showed up and advised he was in the south court….we found he precious 14k gold eagle pendant. No luck in finding his small gold plated cross but he didn’t mind.

He was gracious enough to make a donation to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation Snow Run 2018 Charity via my link!!

Lost precious wedding band during Charity Foam Run Clairville Conservation Area~Brampton, Ontario

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

I have great Friends who notified me that they had sent my ring finder information to a fellow Church member.

Boris T of Mississauga had recently lost weight and decided to participate in a 5km Charity FOAM run at Claireville Conservation Area in Brampton, Ontario.

Met Boris at the location immediately after work. He was AMAZING!! He had spoken to Friends that video taped his participation in the event. They narrowed down the location to the one FOAMED up obstacle. He had is beautiful wedding bank going into, up, over and when he came out…..his precious wedding band was GONE. Boris continued on to finish the race with a very sad heart. His 10th wedding Anniversary was coming up soon…..

I was a bit embarrassed that I had left my Minelab Excalibur2 detector on…the battery was dead. Thank goodness I had a back-up…the newly acquired Garrett AT Pro which I had only played around with. UNDER TWO MINUTES…..I FOUND HIS RING!!! I was amazing…..Boris was overcome with happiness. He was truly so grateful and happy.

Here is a link to the actual ring find https://youtu.be/nZmWX_JIqLA

Here is Boris’s video that made me so very proud at what I do!!!!~  https://www.facebook.com/turner.boris/videos/10211891207689301/

PRICELESS!!! and another donation made to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation Snow Run which I will be participating in Feb 2018 my 10th year!! Thank you for your kindness Boris!! xo

Lost Wedding Band while playing Volleyball~Brampton, Ontario

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

I received a phone call while nearing the end of my Summer Vacation week when I received a phone call from Himanshu. He was playing volleyball at the private compound of President’s Choice HQ in Brampton, Ontario. They had weekly volleyball matches. One of his team mates had said “you should take your ring off in case you lose it”…..

He was practicing prior to the match and sure enough…he lost it. I arrived a few hours prior to the start of the first match. Started a grid pattern from the serving line. One half of the court completed…no ring. Lots of clad coins and sharp thin copper wire pieces. Started on the other side of the court…3rd pass and BAAM…there was his 21k Platinum wedding band. Very special to him as it was India gold. We managed to capture the recovery on video!

One happy camper!!!

Himanshu was kind enough to make a donation to my charity “Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation” in which I am sledding in my 9th consecutive year raising donations for men & woman fighting breast cancer!! “PAYING IT FORWARD”…awesome, everyone WINS!!
