Kara was in town from Texas to help out her parents through some medical issues. They went to Siesta Key Beach to enjoy the warm weather for a few hours. Kara removed her wedding ring to apply sunscreen and promptly forgot she had set it in her lap. She stood up, walked around and then to the water’s edge. After returning to her chair she remembered her ring and searched but could not find it. She found the SRARC ring finders on line and soon had Mike Miller headed to meet her at the beach. She lead Mike right to the spot where they had been sitting and after about three swings of the coil up came the ring. She will be smiling all the way back to Texas and SRARC will be smiling with her.

Jessica and family were up from Venice, Fl to visit with her sister Laura and family living on Anna Maria Island. Laura and her family will soon be leaving for an extended trip to France so on Sunday afternoon both family’s headed to down the block to the beach to enjoy some time on the sand and playing in the Gulf. Jessica took both her engagement and wedding ring off and stored them safely in her shorts pocket. At some point in the afternoon, Jessica and Laura decided to play teenage girls again and started doing cartwheels up and down the beach. As evening approached they all packed up and headed for home. As they walked off the Beach Jessica reached into her pocket to get her rings and terror struck her heart. Nothing was in her pocket. They all returned to the beach and searched but soon realized it was fruitless since they didn’t have any real idea when the rings had been lost. Jessica’s husband googled lost and found Anna Maria Island and the SRARC ring finders popped up. Jessica was soon in touch with Joe Szemer who contacted Mike Miller. Mike made arrangements to meet with Laura the next morning to do the hunt. Laura staked out the area where they had been and Mike went to work. After about 45 minutes Mike got a hit and took a scoop of sand and dumped it out of the scoop. Right away he saw a shiny white gold object reflected in the sun. He motioned Laura over and pointed. Laura excitedly kneeled down and recovered the engagement ring. She then looked up at Mike and said “ There is another ring”. Mike took a swing over the same sand pile and then pinpointed the spot for her. She reached into the sand and up came the wedding ring. She couldn’t believe we had found them and instantly called her sister with the great news. Jessica was already in route from Venice in hopes the rings would be found and began crying as she received the good news. Mike was invited in for coffee while we waited for Jessica to arrive. After she arrived and the rings had been returned we all sat around the table and had a great conversation about their whole families adventures in moving from France to the USA. I want to welcome them all to the USA and thank them for their kind treatment of me. Most of all I loved to see the BIG SMILES on their faces as we parted ways.

Kyle, his wife, and friends came to Anna Maria Island from Alabama for a little sun and surf on the gulf. They set up their chairs and towels close to the gulf’s edge. Kyle was doing a little reading while relaxing in the sun when they decided to go for a swim. He carefully hide his wedding ring in the book and left it on the chair with the towels and other articles. When everyone returned and grabbed towels and things somehow the book got moved and the ring was lost in the sand. When Kyle went to retrieve his ring he could not find it. They all searched through the sand but with no luck. That evening Kyle’s wife googled lost ring Anna Maria Island and up popped SRARC ring finders. She contacted Joe Szemer and he contacted Mike Miller who made arrangements to meet Kyle at the location. About 6 swings and there it was just barely showing through the sand. Jerry and Sue came to Anna Maria Island to have their wedding. All the families were there on the beach to attend the ceremony. Luke, Jerry’s son the best man, was busy organizing the wedding party because of an impending thunder storm and was on and off his cell phone several times prior the ceremony. Finally everything was ready and the wedding began. When the time for handing over the wedding ring came, Luke searched all his pockets but could not find it so the wedding went on without the ring. After the event was over the wedding party retraced their steps but could not find it. The next day someone found SRARC Ring Finders online and contacted Howard Mett’s. He organized a hunt and soon Tom and JoAnn Gajentan along with Mike Miller met the newly married couple and started a search. After about 10 minutes, Mike got lucky and out of the sand came the missing wedding ring. The couple were overjoyed and could not wait to relieve Luke’s sadness over losing the ring. It had simply fallen out of his pocket as he was placing and receiving calls on this cell phone. All is good that ends with such a happy result may you have many happy years together!!!!!!!

If you have lost your ring or any other precious item, “Don’t Wait – Call Now.” Emma joined a group of friends at Holmes Beach for Memorial day festivities in a private compound right on the beach. She was with a close group of friends one of which was the grand daughter of the owners. They all walked out to the beach and setup chairs and were just enjoying each other and the hot sun. Some of them decided to go for a swim and Emma removed the ring that her mother had passed down to her and set it on the chair arm. Now this was no plain old ring, it had been given to her mother by her father way back when they were high school sweethearts. Emma raced off with her friends and swam for a while and when she returned to her chair the ring was gone. Maybe someone had bumped the chair or moved it and the ring had just disappeared. They all looked through the sand but could not find it. On the following Tuesday, Mike Miller came into the same area to search for a different persons lost wedding ring which had been lost on the outer sand bar. Turned out the water was to deep for Mike to hunt so he paddled back to shore and decided to do a little sand hunting while he dried out. He was soon approached by a woman telling him the story about Emma’s lost ring. She pointed out the area she thought it had been lost in and sure enough a few minutes later up came the ring. She was over joyed and took Mike to the house where Emma’s friend was still staying and the ring was put into her hands for safe keeping. I am pretty sure Emma and her parents will be very excited and happy when they hear the good news.

If you have lost your ring or any other precious item, “Don’t Wait – Call Now.” Dora, JR, and Edmond were over from Texas for a little family visit and some much needed R & R at the Florida beaches. They set up a cover at Cortez Beach, Anna Maria Island and then played and went for a swim. As the day came to an end, Dora grabbed her Cutoff’s and put them on over her Swim suit, helped to pack up their gear and they all left the beach. When they reached the car, JR asked Dora for his wedding ring which he had put into her cutoff’s pocket. Dora had no idea he had done that so she paid no attention when getting dressed after the swim. She rushed back to the spot where they and sat and looked with no luck and then noticed Mike Detecting about 100 ft away. She asked Mike if he would look for the lost ring and he agreed to help. A few minutes later she had the ring in her hand a big smile on her face. Another happy ending for some of our friends from Texas.

Matt, his wife Tracey and Chris, his wife Amy came down from Indiana to enjoy Fall break with their children here in Florida. Chris and family went to Orlando to investigate the theme parks and Matt and family came to Anna Maria Island. Since they were friends, Matt invited Chris and family for a day at the beach. After they arrived from Orlando, both families headed together to the beach. They got settled on the sand and Matt and Chris headed out into the water and started throwing a football back and forth. On one of the throws, Chriss saw and felt his Gold and Platinum wedding ring fly of his finger. He knew right where it went into the water so he stood right there. They searched and searched but in the end could not find the ring. Later that evening Chris and family had to return to Orlando without his ring. Later that evening Matt googled “lost Rings on Anna Maria” and found SRARC Ring Finders. He contacted Joe Szemer who contacted Mike Miller who then did a callout for hunters. Mike Shuler, Dane Trask, and Mike all came together and meet Matt at the location the ring was lost. They got the information about where the ring was lost and went to work. About 20 minutes later Mike Miller got the sweet sound of Platinum in his ears and up came the lost ring in his scoop. There were lots if smiles as we waked back into the beach with the ring held high in the air. We don’t know when Chris will find out he has had his ring returned because we understand his wife Amy has some trickery planned, but we are sure he will end up with a great big smile on his face too.
