On 5th of July I received a call from a young man saying his fiance lost her engagement ring at a 4th of July party on the 3rd of July in a friends backyard. He and several friends looked for the ring that night on their hand and knees with cellphone flashlights but did not find it. On the 5th of July his father in-law to be searched with his metal detector but did not find it. He asked if I would look for it and did I think I would find it since it rained on the 4th and people had been walking all over the yard. I said I would look for it and if it was in the yard I would find it. I looked for the ring on the 6th of July and after 45 minutes I held up a ring, the young lady came and looked at it. She began to cry tears of joy and hugged me so tight for several seconds ( seemed like 5 minutes) I was having trouble breathing. She was happy, her fiance was happy and I was happy! The ring was a family heirloom handed down for generations.
