Received a text late Sunday evening (9/20) from Bob. He said that he had lost his wedding ring while doing yard work that day and wanted to know if I could help. We talked Monday morning and we agreed to meet at his house at 1:30. After hearing his story of the loss I decided to begin my search in the back yard where he took his gloves off. Around 5 minutes later his ring was back on his finger and the smile back on his face. He’s no longer in the dog house. And so now the story continues.

 

I was contacted Tuesday 6/16 by a gentleman named Tylor. He told me that after playing volleyball in the pool at his grandfathers house he noticed his wedding ring was no longer on his finger. They did an extensive search of the pool and traps but no luck. I told him I could be at his grandfathers first thing Saturday morning. Since Taylor lived in Houston he would not be able to be there. When I arrived Grandpa Homer came out to meet me and off to the pool we went. I began my search on one side of the pool and then began to work around to the other side. I was just about to run out of yard when I got a solid 62 on the AT Pro. There was no doubt that it was the ring. It was completely hidden in the thick St. Augustine grass. No way to eye ball it. With great pleasure I gave the ring to Grandpa Homer. Thanks Grandpa Homer for being such a gracious host.  And now the story continues.

I received a call from Chris on Wed. to let me know he had lost his ring in his back yard. We made arrangements to meet at his house on Sat. 1-11-20. After arriving at his place he told me the story of his loss. I searched the areas he felt most confident it would be but I didn’t have any luck. I decided to expand my search on the other side of the fence. As I was searching I could see the concern in his face that I wouldn’t find it. After about 30 minutes I got the signal I was looking for and laying right on top of the ground was his ring. He was very happy to have it back on his finger again. Another story continues.

I received a text from Justin on June 4 requesting my assistance in locating his lost class ring. We talked by phone the next day. He told me that on May 28 while he was in his pool his two dogs began arguing with each other. So in order to break them up he brought his right hand up out of the water very fast to splash water on the dogs to make them stop. At that point he felt his ring fly off his finger. He and his wife search for days in the yard and surrounding areas of the pool but could not find it. Then they found me on line on The Ring Finders. We agreed that I would come out Saturday morning June 6 ,early, to conduct a search. After a brief chat and demonstration of what happened I began my search. About 20 minutes later I had the ring in hand. And now the story continues.

Received a call from Jacob Williams of Kyle, Tx. this morning (1/5/19). He wanted to know if I could come look for his wife’s lost wedding and engagement rings. After a 45 minute drive I arrived at his apartment. After asking the normal questions I began my search. After about an hour of searching I finally get the signal I was looking for and had the wedding ring in hand. A couple of minutes later I found the engagement ring close by. So now, The Story Continues.

I received a text from Omar Fiscol on the morning of 9/25/18 stating that his girlfriend had lost her silver promise ring in the front yard the day before. Work was a bit slow for me so I left at 11am to get my gear and go to his house. He wasn’t there but I had a good idea of where to search based on what he told me. I was half way through my second pass in the small front yard and got a solid signal. Covered up by thick grass was the ring. They were reunited with  the ring a few days later. And the story for this young couple continues.

This was a search and recovery that was 24 days in the making. I received a text on Sept. 5 from Luis Reyes in Seguin, Texas. He stated that his wife, Diana, had lost her wedding band and  they were confident that it was in the front yard. The loss actually had occurred on August 19 just as they were leaving on vacation and they didn’t realize it until after they had left. After they returned they both did an extensive search of the car, house and yard. After retracing their steps of the day they left they decided that they had to be in the front yard. Eventually Luis was able to locate the engagement ring but the wedding ring was still missing. Luis found The Ring Finders online and contacted Greg DeLong. Greg was unable to take the search and referred Luis to me. Because of multiple things going on it wasn’t until today, 9/29/18, that I was able to come to his house. Since the rings were a matched set I was able to test the engagement ring for the signal I needed for the wedding  ring. Less than 5 minutes into the search I found it. Both of them were very happy for the return and equally surprised by how fast it was found. So very happy that this story can continue. I received a voice mail from Rusty Richardson saying that his wife, Beth, had lost her white gold wedding ring with a diamond in the Blanco river in Wimberley, Texas the day before. Since it was very early in the morning I decided to wait until later in the morning to reach out to them. I grabbed all my gear and headed to work. I was finally able to talk with Rusty around 7:30am and go over all the details. I told him I would be there around 10. Once I arrived I changed cloths and we headed to the water. The search area was about 40 yards from the shore near a big rock in the water. After about 30 minutes of no signals I finally got a good hit, the hit! It was a solid 45 on the AT PRO. We were in water that was about 4 1/2 feet deep. With my coil resting on top of the target I gave Rusty my pin pointer and had him go under water to locate it. It   took three times of going under water and coming back with a hand full of silt and finally the ring. He was very emotional at that moment and very relieved. We went back to the shore and I asked him to call his wife back out so we could do a Chris Turner Style reveal. When she got to us I asked her go over her story again. As she was talking and pointing at the water I held the ring up on my finger waiting for her to see it. The moment was magical to say the least. At that point there were hugs all around. And so now the story continues. Rusty, Beth thank you so much for the most generous reward.

Leaving for work this morning and noticed that I had a voice mail. A lady, Tryphena Washington, said that she had lost a gold ring in her neighbors front yard yesterday, March 7, 2018, and ask if I could help her find it. I called her and we arraigned a meeting time for later in the morning. When I got there her dad showed me were it had been lost. She had parked on the side of  the curb and when she went to open the passenger door the ring flew off her finger and into the thick grass. I began my search using the Garret AT Pro and within 5 minutes I found the ring close to the side walk. She told me the ring had been given to her by her boyfriend just last week as a symbol of his love for her. The ring had been his fathers wedding ring of 50 years. Another happy ending.

I received a call from Jan Prasek Friday evening Dec. 1. She stated that her wedding ring of 58 years had come off when she was swatting at a bee while standing on her back deck. The ring went over the railing and landed somewhere on the ground in heavy grass about 25 feet below. I agreed to meet her at her house the next morning. After I arrived she took me out on her deck and showed me what was happening the previous Wednesday when it came off her hand. After about 45 minutes of searching in the area where she thought it would have gone, I had not found it. I was not getting any good signals at all. Just falseing. At this point I stopped for a water break and went back up on the deck to talk with Jan some more. After rethinking things she decided that her hand motion would have been going in another direction which would have placed it to the left of where she was standing and not the right. I began my search in that area and within 5 minutes I got a solid 65-66 on the Garret AT Pro. The moment I knelt down to investigate I could see the ring nestled under some tall grass several feet from the deck. I called Jan on my phone and asked her to come outside for a minute. As she came out I just held up the ring for her to see. She was one very happy Lady. And the story continues for this lovely couple.
