First ring recovery 2023

  • from Whycocomagh (Nova Scotia, Canada)

Received a text from Crystal early in the new year about a lost ring over the holidays. She lost a gold ring with diamonds and emerald somewhere on the front lawn. It’s winter here in Cape Breton and the trip would take 2.5 hours one way so an immediate venture was not possible. Another weeks delay was due to a knee injury I suffered. Nonetheless, we had an unseasonably wet and rainy week which cleared the snows from her yard and today I made the trip. Took ten minutes with my Nox to get a banging 10 signal. There in a grass tuft was her beautiful ring. She was delighted to have it returned. This was my first recovery of the new year and hope for more to come. Gotta love those smiles!
