Found Rings in Myrtle Beach, Lost Owners

  • from Myrtle Beach (South Carolina, United States)

I have not had the chance to do much metal detecting in the last month. My business has been very busy. It is a good problem to have. I got up early this morning to hit the local beach at low tide. Working the low holes and cuts I found the usual two dollars in change and a small not so silver ring. I decided to walk the three blocks back to the truck in the dry sand, which I rarely do. Too many inexpensive3 & 4 2015 metal detectors work the dry sand because it is the only place they can hunt without chasing their tails. These were obviously pretty fresh drops. With Internet and phone technology being what it is, we are a Google search away. In a Google search for, metal detectors, lost ring or wedding band, lost platinum or gold engagement ring, we are in the top three or four in any search for our area. This has me wonder why we don’t get more calls for. It’s bitter sweet as the smile is mine until somebody calls us for help. I would rather see you doing “The Ring Dance” with a big smile! Call us for help.

great finds. The calls will come it just takes time. I can go several months without any searches. I guess some think that their rings are lost forever and give up. Remember blog, blog, blog and get your name out to shops and beach lifeguards. HH&GB

      Thanks Jason.
That’s the purpose of this blog. Also just learning how to create the tags. That should help reach that first or second Google search spot. We have a talk radio station that has a good new Friday segment. I’m going to try to get on that with the story of the Garden City Hunt. That would certainly get the name in the locals minds and maybe create some referrals.

I lost a wedding ring in Myrtle Beach – it was gold engraved with the initials of JNG on back as well as wife’s initials and our wedding date. Have you found anything like this? My son picked it up from my nightstand and it has never been seen since. Lost it about 8-9 years ago and thought I would check to see if you have ever found anything like this. Thanks,
