I had a call last night from Clive about his lost gold ring.
Clive told me that he had been brushing snow off the cars in his driveway with his bare hands and when he went back into the house, he noticed that his gold ring was gone.
I was able to meet Clive this morning at his home in Toronto and got the rest of the story.
It turns out that the ring was Clive’s late father’s ring that was custom made many years ago and now Clive wears it.
After getting the details, I grabbed my gear and started searching in the areas that were the “hot zones” for the ring.
After checking the few areas with no luck, I knew I had to expand my search area in case the ring really went flying further than anticipated.
After scanning a wider swath of the side yard, I got a great signal in my headphones.
After pinpointing the area and brushing some snow aside, this massive, solid gold ring came into view.
WOW.!!! What a ring.!!
I left the ring where it was and went and got Clive.
After showing him where the ring had ended up in the snow , I took a few photos and was on my way.
Great to meet you today Clive and I’m glad I was able to help out.
