"Gold Ring Found".....After 9 Months of Hiding. Toronto,Ontario

  • from North York (Ontario, Canada)

Julia called me last night about a gold and opal ring that was lost nine months ago.

The ring is a family heirloom ring that was given to Julia and she had planned to wear it as a wedding ring for her up

Julia was gardening last year in her backyard but she wasn’t wearing the ring, she had left it in the house so it wouldn’t get dirty.

Later on, Matt brought the ring out to her and left it on a patio table near the garden so she could wear it later.

They then left the house for a while and Matt realized that Julia wasn’t wearing the ring, so they went back to the house to get it, but it was no longer on the table  They figured it had gotten knocked off when they were moving things around and didn’t notice the ring fall.

After looking for quite some time with no luck, they assumed it was lost forever.

Julia was thinking about the ring again recently and a quick google search led her to me.

I was able to make it down to their home this morning, Monday May 14,2012 where I met with Matt.

Matt, happy to see the ring again..!!!!

Julia couldn’t be there as she had to work today.

After Matt took me through the events of the day nine months ago, I started the search.

I was finding tons of scrap metal everywhere and had to dig every little piece just in case it was masking the ring.

Well, after about 30 minutes I got that nice solid tone that got my hopes up. After pinpointing the area, and digging down about one inch, out pops Julia’s beautiful gold and opal ring.

Matt was a little shocked I think that we actually found it. He had a great look on his face.

The ring should clean up nicely after a quick bath, ready to wear for the wedding.

I’m really happy I could help out today.

The best to you both on your upcoming wedding.

Take care,

Mark Ellis
