Lost Ring in Water Canal La Marque, Texas (Recovered)

I was contacted by Paul last week regarding a very special ring that he had lost in the canal behind his home in La Marque, Texas. Paul said while working on some underwater fishing lights in the canal behind his house the ring had slipped of his finger and disappeared into the dark waters. Paul told me the ring had belonged to his father, and it was one of his most prized possessions.

Paul provided me great detailed information on the site, sending photographs and finding the answers to all relevant questions regarding the search and site.

Paul and his wife were extraordinary, and I consider them to be good friends and look forward to seeing them again in the future.

Paul, Thanks for everything.

The attached video details the search and events better than I can put into words.

I live in Omega Bay in La Marque Tx. I had lost a Gold ring with a diamond setting that was given to me by my Dad before he passed away so needless to say it was valuable not only in what it was worth but what it meant to me in sentamental value ! The water in the canal behind my house is murky and has a muddy bottom , when I lost the ring I was just sure I would never see it again. I was sick for days thinking about the ring, I thought about buying equipment to search for it myself, but that kind of equipment doesn’t come cheap and I had Zero experience in metal recovery and I’m not a diver. I thought long and hard about how I was going to get my ring back, So Naturally I did what most people do today, I googled how to recover a gold ring and came across Johns add, I was sceptical at first but I called John . Now to make matters worse I had a short time frame to work with because my neighbor across the canal was having a new boat house built starting on Monday which meant a large barge and pile driving equipment was coming, so timing was critical, John said don’t worry about it I will be there Sunday by 10 am. he showed up on time and brought with him a substantial amount of equipment , at that point I knew he was for real. In short order John came to the surface holding my Dads ring on his Pinky finger and says” Is this what your looking for? ” I can not put into words the emotions I felt at that moment . I can not recommend anyone higher, He is good at what he doe’s very professional and has top of the line equipment. So if you have lost something of value and you just have to have it back, waist no more time! Give John a call he get it back for you, He did for me!!! Thanks a Million John…

That is fantastic! What a great video and I have so much respect for the work you do and how challenging it must be underwater with no visibility!
    Way to go John!
