I received a call from Dianna yesterday about her diamond engagement ring that was lost raking and bagging leaves. I was able to go over and search the front yard and the bushes where the ring was lost. After my grid search of the yard and no ring being found I search the last bag of leaves that Dianna’s husband had kept in hope the ring would be found in it. I ran my Whites MX SPORT search coil over the bag and got a faint foil signal (o6, 08). I finally opened the bag and poured out 1/2 of it on the ground and located the signal with my pinpointer and boombang the ring was found.
A special thanks goes out to Dianna’s father-in-law for finding me on the internet. (Via the Ringfinders directory) After several failed attempts with an inexpensive metal detector he found me and I was glad to help find Dianna’s beautiful ring.
Thanks for the generous reward.
