I got a call this morning from a man that told me that he and his wife had had an argument on the side of the road last night. The wife took off her diamond encrusted wedding ring and hurled it as far as she could…It landed somewhere out in the grass in front of an industrial complex. The man told me that he and his wife made up and then frantically spent all night and all of the following morning crawling around on their hands and knees looking for the ring. Needless to say they didn’t find it. I received a call this morning to meet them at the site. This was my first call as a new member of the Ring Finders. I went to work scanning the area where she thought that it might be located. Within 20 minutes I was able to find the ring and return it to the very grateful lady and her husband. The joy that they expressed was like looking at the faces of small children on Christmas morning. I received a very handsome reward for my efforts. As I drove home I remembered that today was my Birthday.
