Found lost ring

  • from Fayetteville (North Carolina, United States)

This ring was lost in the surf at the beach. The ring was her father’s ring that was worn in Vietnam and was the last thing that she had left of her fathers she had lost when was young. It was found on the outgoing tide and was rolling around in the surf.
The tears were rolling and her father in law seem to cry the most and his story was he was given the ring for safekeeping because they want to go into the ocean to swim. He decided to walk up to his knee and a wave knock him to the ground and he lost the ring. His joy was just as much and everyone else that day.
This is one ring that I WILL remember for many years.
