Lost Ring Found In Manoa Valley

  • from Waikīkī (Hawaii, United States)

I received a call from Mike, who’s recently retired from his roofing company and handed over his business to his son and now has plenty of time hunting for old bottles in the Manoa valley. Many wealthy people lived in the valley, and their trash dumps held a lot of very collectible bottles.
Mike asked me if I could help him and a few friends locate where the old trash dumps might be using a metal detector. I said, sure, I’ll give it a try.
After about 3 or 4 hours, Cali came up to me and said I lost my ring last week while working on my farm about a 30-minute hike in the dense jungle. I said, what the hell are we doing looking for bottles when we could be looking for gold.
After tromping through a rough jungle, we came upon the spot where he lost his ring, and sure enough, it was right where he said it might be.
Another happy customer!
