Sam and his three kids were enjoying Twin Lakes State Beach in Santa Cruz this morning when Sam took off his wedding ring to apply some suntan lotion. He set the ring down on his lap, then he got distracted, then he got up to chase the kids and corral the dog. And then he remembered that his ring was not on his finger any more.
Immediately he and the kids started searching the sand. Soon a gang of kids had gathered, all digging through the sand looking for the ring. But after an hour, the ring was still missing. He asked Mr. Google for help, and found TheRingFinders.
Sam called in the early afternoon. I was able to make it to Santa Cruz Beach by 2:30. Sam showed me exactly where he had been sitting, and where he had gone after standing up. All the kids were gathered around expectantly, waiting for me to start looking. The pressure was on.
Sam’s instructions were perfect. I waved my metal detector over the spot where he’d been sitting and got a solid beep. First tone and the ring was in the scoop. I stuck around long enough to find a coin in the sand for each of his kids. Everyone went away happy. Thank you Sam for trusting me to find your ring!
