I received an email from Presley requesting my assistance in recovering her lost ring. She was referred to me by her friend who I had helped find a ring for last September after the hurricane. I made contact with Presley and she explained how she had lost her gold diamond ring in her private pond and could be in water as deep as 6-8 feet.
After several conversations and lots of consideration of how to tackle this ring recovery, I made arrangements to meet her. After assessing the pond (and hoping there were no alligators) I decided to first see how solid the bottom of the pond was and in how deep of water the ring might be in. Not long after entering the pond, I got a hit on my metal detector at a depth of under five feet. Sure enough, after a couple of attempts, the ring was in the scoop.
The smile on her face tells just how happy she was to have her ring back on her finger where it belongs!
