Recently I received a call from Rebecca, who just returned from her honeymoon and, 3 days later, she lost her 5 diamond wedding band in the ocean in Delray Beach, Florida. She was so surprised that it fell off because she said that her husband had to force it on her finger at their wedding just days before but as we all know, fingers shrink. The complication was not that it was a water recovery but it was lost 75+ yards off shore on a sand bar that may or may not still be there for it was a couple of days after the loss when she contacted me. I told them that I could meet them at sunrise the next morning and I geared up with my equipment and a Boogie Board(a first for me). I met her and her husband at the beach but she had to go to work so her husband proceeded to review landmarks with me before he headed off shore on his paddle board with me following on my Boogie Board. Luckily the water was like glass, the sand bar was still there and he got me close enough to the loss area that I was able to find it within about an hour.
This was Rebecca’s response after we sent her pictures of the recovered ring:
“OMG I LOVE YOU!!!! Thank you so much I’m sure you get this all the time but you are incredible! This ring meant the world to me and I was Devastated it was gone. Thank you so much please let me ever know if you need anything!!!”
Another happy newlywed couple!
I got a call and text from Courtni who was on vacation and panicking because her husband lost his wedding band in the ocean in front of the Margaritaville Resort in Hollywood Florida, which is where they were staying. I got there an hour after they called but rough seas and lightening from a big storm ended the search too soon on day one. Before sunrise on day 2 I had recovered the ring in chest deep water, texted them a picture and met them on the beach shortly thereafter. Another happy couple, thanks to The Ring Finders!
This is how Courtni described her experience:
“When my husband and I were looking forward to a relaxing beach vacation, losing his wedding band in the ocean was not on our itinerary….or so we thought. Hubby went body surfing one day and resurfaced with a bare hand..we were devastated. After losing all hope, a friend told us about a ring finding service. Chris was in our area and was FANTASTIC! He quickly came out the next day and got to work searching for hubby’s ring. The weather turned bad about an hour after the search began, but Chris wasn’t about to give up and said he would be back in the morning for round 2!! We were SO happy and amazed when he found the ring quite quickly the next day! No amount of thanks can be given for retrieving our lost gem. Thanks again, Chris!! Your mad skills shine brighter than the Florida sun itself!!”

On Friday the 4th I received a frantic 2am text from Stefan who lost his gold and diamond wedding ring on the Barry University campus after a soccer practice. I spoke to him at 4 and we met at first light.
Stefan had seen it fly off his finger on Thursday evening while walking down a pathway but it disappeared into the bushes and he was unable to locate it. He was truly panicked for he stays on campus during the week but was going home to see his wife that night and could chance doing so without his ring on his finger.
He showed me the area where he lost it and I proceeded to start searching.
Within a few minutes, and with the help of my Garrett pinpointer, I found it in the mulch below the bushes. Needless to say, he was very happy and only now would he share the story about the lost ring with his wife.
Another couple saved from heartbreak thanks to The Ring Finders!
I will search land or sea(including scuba dive) to help you get reunited with your lost treasure and heal your heartbreak.
I received a call last week from Jason who lost his diamond wedding band when his child jumped off a floating trampoline into his arms while he was treading water in a lake. I was picking up my new scuba equipment the next day and he was leaving for Mexico so we scheduled it for the next weekend. Met him as planned and I had him swim out and drop a marker where he felt he dropped the ring. The marker landed in 14 feet of water and I used it as a starting point when I got to the bottom. After searching around for about 1 hour and locating some lead fishing weights and a bonus Gucci watch(not his) I finally found a ring in 19 feet of water. Visibility was only about 1 – 2 feet so I needed to put it up to my mask with a dive light to see if it was his ring and it was! Needless to say, he was psyched and so was I!
Recently I helped Alexandra and her dad find her grandfather’s gold and star sapphire ring on Hollywood beach. After her grandfather passed away the ring was passed on to Alex’s brother who subsequently lost it in the ocean within 24 hours of getting it from his grandmother. He was standing in 3 feet of water, that was crystal clear and flat as glass, when he dropped it as he showed it to a friend. Instantly it disappeared in the soft sand. They searched for hours with snorkels and masks but to no avail. That was when Alexandra found me here and within 2 hours of the call, I recovered the ring for them. Needless to say, they were very happy! Another set of smiles thanks to theringfinders! Read the rest of this entry »
Recently my son and I helped Sylvie find a gold Harley Davidson medallion that she lost while gardening in her yard 8 weeks before. She had been gardening for 3 hours before she noticed her broken chain dangling from her neck. Her family has searched many times but they had given up. She was just about to leave back to Canada and thought she would never see it again when her relative found me here. As you can see we made her very!
Luis panicked for he has been wearing this ring for the 15 years of their marriage and while putting lotion on at the beach today he lost it in the sand. He found me on theringfinders and within an hour of the call I had reunited them with the ring. As you can see they were very happy!
Ali contacted me Sunday when his fiancée lost her engagement ring in the ocean. I met him and Sylvia on Monday but I could not find it due to big waves. I felt so bad for them that I went out again on my own today and luckily I found it for them. I was psyched to bring the ring back to them for she was crushed about losing it. As you can see he is too.
