Wedding Band lost in the grass throwing a Baseball, Toronto ON

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Received a text message from Jacob R from Toronto, ON! Jacob was out throwing around a baseball in a park in downtown Toronto. He put his gold wedding band in his pocket for safe keeping. When he was leaving he realized his ring had popped out onto the grass somewhere!

Unfortunately, I was not able to attend due to prior engagements. I message one of my “back-up” fellow detectorists Paul Taylor to see if he was available to attend to help Jacob out. Paul has been very respectful of the COVID-19 quarantine safety measures for good reason as many of us have been. Paul decided to meet up with Jacob at 5am this morning to discuss the large area to search. After 2 hours grid searching, Paul was successful in recovery Jacob’s gold wedding band!!

On behalf of Paul’s success in recovering Jacob’s ring, Paul requested that he make a donation on my behalf of my “Pay-It-Forward” personal campaign to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation for my 2021 participation/fundraising efforts. A tax receipt is given to anyone that donates! Jacob wanted to donate this on behalf of Paul’s selflessness help this morning!

Thank you Jacob for calling so quickly as it aided in the recovery of your wedding ring recovery & return! Also, thank you for your generous donation to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation!! 🌸💖🌸 which is gratefully receive!

Thank you Paul for being an amazing “back-up” metal detecting specialist!!
